The concept of a psych au where Shawn blows into town in season 1 but he stays on the dl for awhile and works nights at a club where Lassiter is doing an undercover assignment as a bouncer to infiltrate the suspected drug trade scene and Shawn’s like “ok this dude is definitely a cop” but his boss is shady and he was lowkey hoping the hot new bouncer would stay long enough to get familiar so he lets it slide. The concept of bouncer Carlton beating the shit out of a guy for getting handsy with Shawn and that flipping allll of Shawn’s switches. The concept of Lassiter having a catholic guilt freak out over making out with a possible suspect while he’s undercover but not being able to leave him alone. The concept.
