And to finish off here's the FNAF 3 purple guy candle label (also not yet available sorry) from Handle with scare co.
This one is much simpler, I'm thinking of redoing it to be of the window to the office instead. But I think it being the stage and him standing ready to lure you into the backroom works too. Since there is going to be text (since it is for a label) it's best to have not much going on in the centre section anyway.
This is one of the FNAF candles (not yet available) from my best friend's candle business (Handle with Scare co on Instagram) that I drew.
Normally for these labels she tells me what she wants and does a quick thumbnail drawing for me with the basic layout with some reference photos. Otherwise I have free reign. I'm not really into horror films but mascot horror I am all over. So I was told to do whatever I please with these ones.
And I knew for a FNAF 1 themed candle it's gotta be the hallway. I still have to add on the security camera overlay but for never having drawn an animatronic before I think I've nailed it.
A limited edition golden Freddy version would be stupendous.

My best friend runs a horror themed candle biz/ horror blog called Handle with Scare co. You can find her on Instagram.
I'm trying to get her to make a Tumblr account, this place is perfect for her. Right now she's only on Insta but I will show her the light.
I drew the candle labels, these are from maybe 2 years ago but I had never really tried horror or realistic art before. They came out better than I could've expected.
I have other ones to show but they're kinda lost in the files at the moment. TBC
today is not my birthday
reblog if your birthday is not today
It is almost my birthday,
but not today.
💫 Hi! I’m Melissa. I’m a Uni student and newbie artist who loves cute designs and small trinkets 💫 🌟 prints, stickers, buttons, keychains e
Here's my business link tree. I'm supposed to be self promoting myself or something, idk.
I have fan art and original art so if cute cows and mermaids are your thing then it's worth checking out.
Finished animation from Blender Guru's fourth doughnut tutorial in blender.
Also 150th post, when the hell did I do this many?
I started this so long ago and only just finished it. feels like every time I finish exams I either start or finish a blender tutorial, and the one that always comes back like William Afton is of course the titular doughnut tutorial.
Great day for me to also find out there's a fifth one out now!
Guess that'll be my plans for my next semester break. Being a Biomed student is creativity crushing during the term. Making cute models feels like a betrayal to the studying I could be doing instead. Do I study though? of course not.
I've started the animation render. Only 200 frames this time but we're 4 hours in and only 23 frames done. My computer is not as good as it used to be in my old games art days. Might be time to upgrade, in this economy though? might need to sell a kidney or something.
How many days before the render is done?
4 days
though to be fair, I couldn't let it run over night or even for more than 3-4 hour increments cause my laptop was overheating like crazy. Same for leaving the house.
Not my longest render and thankfully it is winter otherwise I think my laptop would have actually died. RIP all the 3D artists suffering in that heat wave in Europe right now.
we're up to frame 39, only 161 to go.
This would probably go a lot faster if I didn't have to watch my laptop like hawk so it doesn't shut off. Settings says it's set to never turn off or sleep while plugged in, reality says otherwise.
Anyone else love holding down the arrow keys to watch every few frames added how much more of the animation is made. Just me?
Also the star burst glare on the metallic sprinkles is chefs kiss.

2023 to 2024 to 2025
Hard to believe that each of these are a year apart sequentially.
Don't mind the different watermarks, that's just for my business account, because I have one of those now for some reason, and I'm too lazy to change out the names.
It's been almost a year. Oof
Happy holidays though guys. I've had this account now 3 years and it's so nostalgic to see my old posts from back when I was doing my first degree.
I'm a biomed student now which is a wildly different experience from being a games art one. Science classes are so much easier than art ones and I will die on this hill.
I missed doing art though and making things, so I impulsively made myself an art business and signed myself up for markets and artist alleys and somehow got accepted. Now I have to do stuff and it's great. I don't have to feel guilty drawing or modelling things this way, and it has gotten me to try out new things I otherwise never would have had a reason to.
This side hustle of mine is called Moon Kristelle and you can find my sporadic posts about it below:

I'm happy i was able to fit in one last tutorial for the year. Going back to university to do a stem degree has left me with a lot less free time to create things than my last one, unfortunately.
Made in blender following a youtube tutorial by Denis Wipart
the Miku's are both from old sailor moon drawings I did while Rin is Sayori and Luka is Yuri from DDLC. I should've made them earlier and drawn them properly new but I left it to the last minute. they're not perfect but I think they turned out okay.
I went to Miku expo last night with my best friend and can say it was hands down the best concert I've ever been to. Despite all the Miku merch I own though none of it was wearable so I had to quickly make my own badges with old drawings of other characters and the official Miku expo Australia poster.
Unfortunately The merch was sold out way before we got there but people inside were selling knock off light sticks so I still got to participate in that. There were more knock offs in the crowd than official ones.
rendering this took days and required a fan on its highest setting pointed directly on top of my computer to keep it just below boiling.
Lesson learned on settings with multiple reflective objects moving
