Eret's on Tumblr now.

Recently I heard about Eret moving to Tumblr and one of his reasonings being that Twitter sucks. I was pretty surprised because I didn't know that people on twt hated Eret so obviously I did the best thing to know what's going on with a CC on twt.

Oh, boy.

It won't be long before more and more creators leave Twitter because of it's lack of empathy. They expect people to be unrealistically perfect and have standards that no human can actually reach. Its ridiculous. Did Eret make a mistake? Yeah, sure. He assumed something without knowing enough about it but it was a genuine mistake and he apologized for it multiple times.

Sometimes I believe Twitter isn't actually offended at what was said but just acts offended so that they can have a reason to get mad. Even in the off chance Eret did offend someone as much as Twitter claims why do think mocking his appearance makes them morally superior?

Eret made a genuine mistake, apologized, educated himself and a became better person while the toxic idiots on Twitter call him ugly for making a mistake and then constantly shame him for that.

I genuinely think we should involve MrBeast in DSMP AUs, fanfiction and fanart more. He has so much potential. He could be a God similar to DreamXD or just some dude who has too much money that randomly hops onto DSMP once in awhile.

Considering that he stays far away from the events that occur on the main SMP he would be one of the only few who wouldn't know about all the crimes c!Dream has done and he would still consider him a good friend of his. So while c!Dream may think he has been abandoned by literally everyone on the server there is still one person who cares for him and he just might be one of the strongest and most influential in the server..

With respect to your tags I respectfully disagree. Reddit keeps it civil. No one on Reddit except for a few bad apples really take it too far and only have civil discussions which is exactly why Dream and certain other CCs participate in MCC talk so much on Reddit.

Twitter, on the other hand makes a huge deal about it, attacks Hbomb for cheating, calls Dream funnel's strat repetitive, gets into a huge argument about how MCC is biased and then proceeds to make fun of Dream for being so passionate about MCC and harasses Scott for no real reason

If something stinks, its always Twitter.

Completely dismissing the fact that works like Dragon Ball where we have characters named after vegetables and underwear is taken seriously

Or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure where we really have characters named after musical things and sometimes it's not even perform or sometimes their names are stuff like Oingo and Boingo but it is very much taken seriously memes aside

Or MHA where literally every single character's name is a pun

All three of these are super major anime and yet all have such silly names in their serious work

I found this on the tags I haven't been to Tumblr for over an year I don't really know how to dig deep to find your post bruh. I just saw your post and I disagreed.

My description is a joke, I wrote it on a whim because I was making this account for a different fandom.

"Did not ask for your opinion" You posted on a public site an opinion on someone's writing. People are allowed to disagree especially when that dude in question is notorious for his bad writing skills. Also, what kind of person writes an opinion on something and then gets mad when people give a counterpoint? Thats extremely counterproductive and doesn't form a discussion.

Then that anime is either a full on gag anime or a shit anime. Why is your argument for "That is shit" is to say "Well they did it too" like that does not make it any better.

The names are not good plain and simple especially for a game thats supposed to be take seriously. If it was a gag simulator game that would be all right but this isn't supposed to be a gag game.

Also the fact that you brought his race into this appalling. I didn't even mention his race. If your first instinct is to go to race when someone criticizes someone's writing skills then that says a lot.

About the Ten Rivals Update.

Some people have extremely poor reading comprehension, and this update shows. It was made obvious that this was NOT Ayano’s ten rivals, there’s been more than enough evidence to suggest that this was 1980s Mode.

So a lot of fans are most likel a teeny bit disappointed while Gremlins are thinking they’re going to be having a field day, but regardless on where you stand, there’s one question everyone is going to have:

“Why did he do 1980s Mode instead of Ayano’s rivals?”

The reasons why:

-Proof of Ability Before Launching the Kickstarter.

Yanderedev has implemented ten rivals + a lot of new things into the game for this mode specifically. A VERY big thing a lot of people, even fans, forget is that volunteers are not given a deadline for their work, and this can result in waiting for something for a long while (remember when they first happened? One of Yanderedev’s videos covered this.)

So what is a developer to do? Work on something he already did have assets for.

“But YandereHeart! 1980s Mode wasn’t supposed to come out until sometime after the game!”

Now I don’t really know IF Yanderedev said 1980s Mode was for after the game or not, but here’s a little secret about development:

Not everything is done in chronological order.

What I mean by that is that sometimes people can work on different things, different assets before the main game, especially if it was a heavily planned feature, you didn’t think Yanderedev would have been preparing for it?  Just so happens he got what he needed and this was the perfect opportunity to do so.

Another thing people forget: Yanderedev was hesitant to launch the kickstarter for a couple of reasons:

-The Pandemic has left a lot of the world struggling, a lot of people lost their jobs. Not only would he obviously not reach his kickstarter goal where people would have to choose food and rent over a video game, but it would be an extremely dickish move to pull that anyways.

-Because of people doubting his ability to actually make the game.   Big games with big scopes take *years* to make, even Cuphead took five going on six years to make, the only difference between Yanderedev’s work and a lot of other video games that take years is that we all actually got to see the proess of a game being made + the fact that Yansim was never intended to be a full game, so it’s really three-years less than its average once he realized people actually wanted this game to be a thing and not some silly sandbox to mess around in.

Making 1980s Mode will be like a full game. It will prove to people he IS capable of making a game, he can fix any bugs that he’ll know to expect in Ayano’s Rivals update. He’ll take criticism from fans and use that to improve the Ayano Rivals’ build.

-Testing out his ability to implement the nine other rivals in a row. Remember how Yanderedev said that implementing Osana will make implementing the other nine rivals a lot easier?  It’s the exact same thing here, but with uploading more than one rival at the same time.

It’s a practice run. It would give us a timeframe of how long it may take to make the main game (give or take a few months) and it will give him time to make any necessary adjustments + make it easier to deal with complications the next time.

-Giving us something substantial one last time before he actually does  finish the game. 1980s Mode isn’t an easter egg, but its definitely something to keep us busy for a good while. Unlike with Mission Mode, 1980s mode may as well be a game prequel for us to play before we’re in the present day.

I’m positive that 1980s Mode will give a decent amount of replay value, and I mean, a lot of people wanted 1980s Mode to begin with.

Gremlins of course will try to spin this into a “HA he’s not finished” but remember, gremlins solely exist just to be assholes online. They’ve made hating this game a personality trait and even if he DID finish it they’re not going to be happy about that either and find more things to shit on.  They hopped from “Where’s Osana” to “Where’s Amai” not even a full day after Osana was released.   They’re never going to see anything he does with the game as a good thing, they’ve actively wished for this to be terrible. They’ve actually supported a legit pedophile and covered it up the best they could and when that did not work, they pretended like they never did such a thing. They raided the subreddit and posted gore, porn and other disgusting things, despite them claiming “only kids like this game” so willingly exposed kids to graphic content.  They never cared about anyone or anything other than satisfying their own bloodlust. 

Gremlin trash  are not and will never be valid or correct in any way, shape or form. Remember that.

As for my personal thoughts on 1980s Mode:

I am very excited to see what comes of the rivals more than anything else, since the only rival we know of is the bathroom spirit.  Other things I am excited about are the Yakuza, how different the school will be and seeing Ayano’s dad.

I’m very excited, the big thing is we don’t know a lot about the 1980s to begin with, so we’ll all be looking at this update with fresh eyes!

Cuphead devs took SIX YEARS to produce a hand drawn complete game while it took Yandere Dev six years to add one rival to the game and that too half-assed filled with glitches. None of you know anything about how videos games are made and it truly shows. Watch Kappa Kaiju's videos he breaks it down perfectly but constructive criticism is something you people will constantly ignore and instantly call him a gremlin.

All the support for Dr. Apeis dropped when people realised what kind shit he did. People supported him because people didn't know about all the crap he did before. What is your excuse? You still support Yan dev after all the ableist crap he did.

Even Cleveland, HIS BEST FRIEND dropped Yandere Dev. None of you have any excuse to continue supporting him. Its one thing to support his game, thats separating the art from the artist but you guys support Yan dev and it's so gross. All of you are delusional.

YandereDev wants to prove to people that he can implement the remaining rivals in a timely fashion so that they feel confident supporting any crowd funding campaign he launches. So he's going to release a super special update with TEN RIVALS! It's not the same rival girls that we've come to know, and he's been very vague so as to keep it a surprise, but so far the bit he has said makes us all think that it's gonna be 1980's mode :O

I feel too there’s actually another reason for the Not-Ayano’s-Rivals being made: It’s basically a practice run for when he implements Ayano’s rivals, so implementing Ayano’s will go much smoother and easier, kind of like how he explained that adding in Osana would make adding other rivals easier.
