I'm also going to answer this publicly just in case anyone in the future has this question, but i can delete it if you would like me to.
Generally speaking, anyone who is rejected is typically rejected because they have a mostly/entirely blank blog, are mostly dedicated to sh/ed content, post untagged/uncensored gore or nsfw content, simply list their age as "minor", or do not really list an age at all.
The reason for this is to keep out bots, to protect the community from a more open threat of termination, and to protect younger members of the site.
This doesn't apply to you, but it's another thing to mention in regards to this: Seeing as the community is listed in it's description as being 15+, if I cannot immediately see that someone fits that requirement when looking at their profile, I am uncomfortable just accepting them into the community. I'm equally uncomfortable sending a message to everyone who requests to join to ask for an age. I understand those who don't want to make it public, respect the need for safety, and encourage people to do what they need to do to ensure that safety.
It can be kind of difficult to judge based on quick glances at profiles, but messages like this are always welcome if you feel you have been rejected from joining the group unfairly.
