I love seeing people carrying flowers bc they look so happy and u kno they’re gonna make someone else mad happy
Not everyone who carries flowers are happy and make other people happy. What if those flowers were for a dead loved one? Not everyone who delivers them are happy.
ill just go fuck myself then

I'm going to miss this place
This sunny warm place where more people opt to sit out than in. Where rich people sip their oversized coffee and not-so-rich people congregate outside smoking in their restaurant/cafe uniforms. Where pretty girls of various skin colours walk about with long legs bared in shorts and flowing long hair, or with legs covered in jeans and hair in a headscarf. Where white people with obvious sunburns always opt to sit out and always order cappuccino, while middle easterners always bring their whole family and would rather buy expensive bottled water instead of drinking filtered water. Where these people often attract attention even though we are so used to seeing them here. Where some days I sit in my branded clothes reading a book in full idleness, while on other days run around in the cafe uniform wiping tables and steaming milk. Where I expertly switch between languages and accents without a second thought. Where I am not an anomaly, well at least not physically, anyway. Soon I'll be back in that cold gloomy place. Where I'll speak in an accent that sounds so unnatural to me yet comes naturally. Where I'll make jokes about being a minority, albeit light heartedly because it has not yet caused me inconvenience. And in a few months I'll call that place home, while this place will start to feel ancient and strange again.
