i like the idea that red hood is to crime alley what daredevil is to hell's kitchen in the dd comics. in the way that:

Jason: *in full red hood gear, walking through an alley* homeless man next to him: hey, todd. how's patrol? jason: *grinning under his helmet* i don't know if you need new glasses---or maybe a memory boost, jimmy---but the todd kid is dead. i, obviously, am not. homeless man: *snickers* yeah sure, sure, jason

Under the Hood AU where Jason doesn't break away from the League on his own. Damian knows he is the son of the bat, and by extension, he knows the faces of his father's assistants and gods above, that's the dead Robin working for the League as one of Damian's sparring partners.

well hell Damian knows that's Jason and he knows how much losing him destroyed Bruce. But Jason doesn't remember. Not yet, anyway, but he will. Damian's gonna make sure of that. Damian's going to bring this lost bird back to the nest or die trying.
