What is Camelot Remix?

Camelot Remix is a exchange remix challenge for Merlin fanworks (FPF or RPF) where you are assigned another fest participant to create a brand new fanwork based on one of their existing fanworks, therefore "remixing" it. Another participant will be assigned to "remix" one of your fanworks.

Your backgrounds are so bright and full of life! I love how they convey a story just as much as the characters you draw. Do you have any tips on choosing colors or themes for your backgrounds that help them fit with the characters or scene your trying to create? I have a hard time feeling like the people I draw are just stickers on a landscape when I do full backgrounds. Thank you for any advice you can offer and I love your work! 💗

This is so kind of you to say!! I am very flattered! For me I love bright colours and bright light - sometimes I mess up still, but I do try and pick a light direction first so things are in the same feild. The best thing I ever learned was that shadows aren't really grey or black - they are a mix depending on a whole host of factors. Light colour, object/person colour, the environment + reflected light - all sorts. There are a lot of great tutorials that would be way better than anything I could tell you, but I have no idea what is current/best regarded! If anyone has suggestions please feel free to chime in!!
