System A went back in time to make things better, and in doing so, erased themselves from the family they'd built, with no plans to change their absence.
They weren't expecting someone from their ex-family to start remembering the old timeline.
hear me out. doomed found family.
people coming together through adverse circumstances, learning to rely and depend on each other, beginning to care for each other, but knowing that they both have places to be in time, and their paths won’t cross the same way again.
every interaction tinged with regret. every fragment of this person they learn another memory to hold on to. keeping them close, because you know you’ll be forced to split up soon enough.
maybe they have a bio family to get back to, or other situations that’ll keep them apart. but either way, the result’s still the same, and it’s out of their hands.

The kid wakes up in the middle of the night because of nightmares and is too scared to sleep by themselves, so they sneak into their parental figure's bedroom, begging them to sleep together
Hide and Seek

Kid falls asleep somewhere and the caretaker finds them, bringing them to their bed
Caretaker and the child fall asleep on the couch together while watching a movie <3

Winter! (picture snowball fights, sleighing, buliding a snowman, hot chocolate, baking cookies, Christmas presents)
On a cold winter day Caretaker notices that the child is freezing so they draw a gentle smile and say: "Come here", pulling them under their coat to warm them up
Caretaker gives the kid their clothes, which are waaay too large for them so they are sitting there in a oversized sweater and Caretaker rolls up their sleeves
(and for a bit o' whump :D) Child gets injured/sick and the caretaker has to tend to their wounds or nurse them back to health
Stargazing together or catching some fireflies (I have a soft spot for that one <3)
Or just both of them cuddling under a blanket in front of the fireplace while rain and thunder is rumbling outside :3

Hesitantly, he handed his phone to Yamada first. The man read the message and squealed before handing the phone to his partner.
"The kiddo's got his first date!"
"I'm not sure if it's a date. That's the thing."
"Well, just ask them if it's date. Simple." Aizawa stated.
No, it was not as simple as just asking Kaminari.

OR: Shinsou is beginning to question whether his and Kaminari's relationship is merely platonic or romantic, so he ends up asking his parents for advice.

Before he could even respond to the worried look of his teacher's face, he felt himself swaying back and forth on his feet. His head was feeling dizzy and weak as his eyes rolled back, his knees crumbling beneath him.
Without a moment's hesitation, Aizawa leapt forward to grab his kid from falling face first into the ground.
"Fuck, Kid" Aizawa muttered under his breath.
And that's how he's here now, gently swinging his legs off a hospital bed, while Aizawa is scowing in a corner, arms crossed, not looking at Hitoshi.
He assured Hitoshi that he wasn't in trouble, but wanted to wait for Hizashi so they could all talk.

OR: Shinsou had developed anxiety around eating from his time in foster care and when Aizawa unintentionally scolds him, he begins to spiral. Resulting in Shinsou not eating properly and collapsing.

"No one. I don't recognise the writing." Hitoshi couldn't help the heat forming on his cheeks, no longer able to hold eye contact with his respective guardians while thinking about the boy.
"Oh my god, he totally does. And he's blushing too," Yamada was practically bouncing in his seat while shaking Aizawa's shoulder with excitement. "Shinsou-"
"Hizashi, leave the boy alone."
"Aww, but Sho', young love is best."
