Thinking about how much the first (three) episodes of Voltron obviously are buckfuck wild from the perspective of the paladins but also imagine being Iverson.
He has even less context than the paladin and from his perspective nothing makes any goddam sense… except keith.
Like, first the presumed dead pilot of the Kerberos mission crashes back on earth in what must be an alien ship. That’s so many levels of wild
So shirogane ends up in quarantine until you can figure out what the hell is going on. Because they have no idea if he is contagious or anything. Is it even shirogane? What is going on with the arm? Is he even in control of himself? He sure isn’t particularly coherent, talking nonsense and being generally frantic. So sedation it is.
Probably hardly anyone besides Iverson and the team there even know shirogane is back before someone sets of explosives, breaks into the compound shiro is, knocks out three member of staff, breaks him out and get away from the rest of the troops.
On a probably unrelated note the three worst example of cadets are currently missing (one of which may or may not be related to the holts. or he's seeing things because his feelings of guilt about stuff is manifesting that way).
That’s hardly a blip on iversons radar between the shirogane situation, all the implications of it and also the giant blue lion soaring through the sky.
Once they get video or witness report or whatever on the break in and it is revealed keith, ace pilot and dropout/expelled cadet was the one who did the initial break in, it’s the first time at least something makes sense.
Because this screams reckless, involves so many breaches of protocol and regulations and most importantly it involves shiro. So of fucking course keith is smack dab in the middle of it. Frankly Iverson would be shocked if he wasn’t.
Also turns out that his three other cadets are missing is not in fact unrelated (he is most probably not seeing things).
Iverson is left with so many questions and no answers because everyone involved just vanished into thin air for years
“Iverson?”
I saw this on the back of someone’s shirt and immediately the thought ‘VOLTRON?’
It says ‘Iversen’- but we pretend it’s spelt like it is in the show.
(fr- why he starin’ at us like we did smth wrong)
Voltron: Legendary Defender S01E05 - Tears of the Balmera
part 5.08 of 5.54
<- part 5.07 | masterpost | part 5.09 ->
who has the bigger gyatt?1!1!?! (I’m saying gyatt because there is no way I am actually going to take this question seriously)
biggest gyatt poll
Keith
Lance
Zarkon
Bob
Iverson
Shiro
(UPDATE: THIS WAS THE WORST IDEA I HAVE EVER HAD I SHOULD’VE KEPT IT TO MYSELF)
So, am I the only one who sees potential in this?
Really? The only one?
Where are you, Coran x Iverson shippers?
Commander Iverson: Everyone in the garrison thinks you’re paranoid.
Keith: If it’s “everyone”, THEN IT MUST BE A CONSPIRACY!
