CARD OF THE DAY SIX OF CUPS Bittersweet memories, that is all I am taking with me. That beautiful lyric from Whitney Houston is what the six of cups is all about. It is the fond recollection of mom…
Sometimes, it can be helpful to have an arsenal of positive memories. These memories have the magnetic charge of positive emotions, and if we channel these memories as vividly as possible during a stressful or sad time, we can feel the emotions in our bodies. If we use this practice with the intent of jumpstarting your feelings, it can be very productive. However, the inverse is also true. How often have you been in a neutral or positive state then remembered a negative memory, ruminated and spiraled, and ended up lower on the emotional scale for the foreseeable future. It takes time to shake it off.
So since the past does not exist anymore, we should be careful to not be tempted by mind time travel. For if we mentally exist in the past and miss the present, your power is not with you.
How often do you choose to think about the past? How often do intrusive memories interrupt your train of thought?
Next time a memory occurs, sit for a minute and try to tune in to the physical sensation in your body as sensitively as possible. Where is it? Does it feel good or bad? Our thoughts are our electrical charge, and these physical sensations (feelings) are our magnetic charge. Together, our electromagnetic field is the algorithm to the FYP of your life, so be careful you are programming it right. It is never too late to start.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

3 OF PENTACLES
The dream that works because the team works. The intangible made manifest through collective, focused effort. The conscious decision to pool brain power together to fuel a mission. The three of pentacles is the card that represents teamwork, collaboration, teaching/learning, internships, and recognition.
It symbolizes dedication to a project or commitment to work and service. It also has the element of shared ideas bouncing off of each other.
In the Light Seer's Tarot card, the 'teacher/master' archetype is seen holding a branch that his two students are working on together. Looking at this card, I the practical application of newly learned skills under the supervision of the master. The master encourages the students and is honest about their shortcomings, because he wants them to truly learn.
There are very few instances in this life where one can build or create value without the help of anyone else. Our creations require collaborators, and the aggregate is always stronger. Having multiple perspectives creates well-roundedness and sound logic. Going at it alone runs a huge risk of bias you are unable to detect.
I had an interview today at a restaurant/music venue, and two executives and I spent almost three hours discussing their business operations, marketing strategies, pivoting business models, and big picture stuff. Having three differentiable brains all focused on the same sphere can wind up circular at times, but nonetheless is extremely satisfying to curious and passionate brains. This is what this card represents; brainstorming, consulting, discussing and debating, explaining, justifying, and painting pictures.
When was the last time you engaged in intellectual group conversation?

8 OF WANDS
Rapid change. Hastiness and swiftness. News that knocks the wind out of you. The eight of wands represents the moment where everything changes - for better or worse. These changes are fast, tie up loose ends, and answer questions that have been without an answer for some time.
Change is hard for everyone, it is against the nature of the human condition. Yet, paradoxically, change is the only constant in the universe. In the Kybalion, It is the third of the seven universal laws - The Law of Vibration.
"Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates." - The Kybalion
So we must learn to accept that nothing ever lasts forever. We must learn to welcome change, no matter how fast or how drastic. We must learn why we tend to feel fear when entertaining the idea of change. It is because we are afraid of the unknown. We are afraid of it because we cannot control it, the antidote is acceptance.

The Hermit card is one of my favorite cards of the Major Arcana if not all of the tarot. I feel a deep personal connection to this card for many reasons.
This card represents the hero's journey of the self. The concept of 'individuation' was described by Carl Jung. It is the initiation of the flame, it is the Kundalini awakening process. It is the furthest retreat from the earthly realm and external factors into the deepest parts of the soul. When the outside is too dark, we must go inside to find it again.
"As The Hermit walks his path, the lamp lights his way – but it only illuminates his next few steps rather than the full journey." (Biddy Tarot)
Around September of 2022, a massive heat wave rolled into SoCal. At the time I was living in my college apartment which was on the second floor and did not have an AC. One day in the morning, my thigh began twitching and by 4 p.m. that afternoon, I was in the fetal position on my couch because I was convinced I was having a stroke or a transient ischemic attack, or something of the like. I can only describe it as not being able to "feel" my body. It wasn't a numbness, however, and I wasn't paralyzed. I thought I had had anxiety attacks before, but the next few weeks were some of the scariest days I lived through.
At the time, I worked at Starbucks, and during my shifts, this 'condition' would randomly strike. I vividly remember reassuming the fetal position on the backseat of my car one day when I was on my lunch break, I could NOT shake the feeling that I was going to pass out and not wake up.
While that situation receded, new bizarre symptoms began sprouting up. I have a grudge against the medical system and was determined to not get a check-up about this. I knew that whatever this was, they were not going to understand OR be able to help me in any way that I saw as beneficial.
During this same time frame, until about May of 2023, I saw huge increases in psychic activity within me. Things I shouldn't know, I knew. Someone would ask me a question about anything, and somehow, I would visually see the answer to their question in my mind's eye.
The point of this story is to say that if I had not done an extremely deep self-analysis and observation during those months of struggle, I would not have known that what felt like my whole system shutting down, was my whole light body turning on. It was my kundalini awakening, it was my psychic senses coming online. The sheer number of epiphanies I had during that period is astounding to me, even today. The amount of shadows and demons I caught, put on trial, and consciously convicted was more than I ever knew possible.
But during this time I had almost zero socialization. I began to believe I had agoraphobia but eventually realized that it was extreme sensitivity to environmental energies in the environment, and since these senses were just turning on, I did not know how to recognize or regulate the influx of foreign energies.
This metamorphosis from adolescent to adult, this time from September 2022 to May 2023, was my formal training in learning to be in the world, but not of it.

QUEEN OF SWORDS
The Queen of Swords represents the full power of the feminine force in the context of truth, intelligence, communication, honesty, and mental processes. If you can imagine the strongest qualities of Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini expressed in their feminine polarities, that mixture of energy would characterize the queen of swords.
In both cards, the queen is sitting pretty and holding her sword of truth, securely and contently watching over her kingdom and surroundings.
Because this is the feminine polarity, intuition and spiritual discernment are also traits of the Queen of Swords. We are constantly bombarded with messages from the 3D world and from the spiritual world, and when one consciously accepts lines of communication from the spiritual world, it is essential to have the ability to discern your thoughts and higher guidance from collective noise and meaningless "messages".
This is something I have struggled with too. When I am trying to decode the unknown, not a license plate goes unread. If you know what I mean, you know what I mean. Remember to keep your feet on the ground when your head is in the clouds!

CARD OF THE DAY PAGE OF CUPS Happy Palindrome Day! 4202024! I felt the urge to pull today’s card while grounding under the sun. I asked the ascended masters, goddess Gaia, my personal spirit …
The way that air bubbles float to the surface of a beverage when carbonated, is the same way these thoughts and fears float into our awareness in altered states of consciousness. To a lesser and tamer extent with Cannabis, to a strong degree with Psilocybin. If you really want to get to the root of your subconscious, I suggest taking psilocybin with a trusted trip sitter.
I say all that to say this: there comes a time when we HAVE to look at our emotions, we HAVE to look inside the holy cup that is our heart and see what's there (even if it's a strange fish). It's contents hold greater wisdom and understanding than any external source ever could. The page of cups asks us to take off the filtering mechanism and begin to swim in the rivers of the mind and oceans of the unconscious.
4.19.24 (CARD OF THE DAY) 7 OF CUPS
Today's card is the seven of cups. Cups represent intuition, feelings, emotion, and imagination. To me this card represents the infinite potential opportunities held within the quantum realm. Our imagination is our strongest electrical conductor of manifestation energy because we can imagine anything we'd like at any time we'd like.
The Seven of Cups represents the plethora of timeline potentials one can create and choose from as they make decisions in their life. Although we do not know future outcomes in advance, we can use visualization to design it.
This card asks us to imagine what the best possible outcome for any given situation would look like. Too often we constrict our imagination in the bounds of what is 'rational' and 'realistic' in our earthly realm. However, what is characterized as rational and realistic is often the paths or choices that many have made before. The path most commonly taken is well paved and populated and is a default of sorts. That is why when facing a problem, we often think of how others have made decisions before consulting what our heart truly wants. Therefore our consciousness recognizes the "common default" paths as the "easiest" because they are deeply rooted in and routed by the collective unconscious.
It takes courage to let yourself imagine what you truly want. Most people don't know what they truly desire, but can quickly list their problems they wish would expire.

CARD OF THE DAY
6 OF SWORDS
The Six of Swords represents transition and carrying the load as movement is made. The man in the boat is shown steering an oar through the water as a cloaked person and a child sit on the boat. Also on the boat are the six swords, which represent the heavy, unnecessary baggage we carry along our journeys. If only we didn't have this weight, the steering would be much easier!
I also notice how on the right side of the boat, the water is rippled and wavy, yet on the left, it is still as can be. This speaks to the difference between our right and left brain consciousness. The right brain works intuition, insight, and creativity. The left brain works logic, reason, calculations, facts and sequence. We must use both sides of our brain to reach our fullest potential. As we move through the struggles, sometimes it is easier to steer with our right brain, leaning into intuition and seeing the deeper, higher, and bigger picture. This parallels the ferryman's steering to the right.
Make waves and wonder all...

Card of the Day
Today's card of the day is The Star
The Star is a major arcana card that speaks to hope, renewed reverence, and restored faith in the divine and it's master plan.
In the procession of the major arcana, The Star card appears with renewed faith and optimism following the tower. When the tower falls, the structures and levels of stability we have built so carefully come crashing down. All that is left is our foundation of faith and we must begin again. This can leave us feeling disillusioned, victimized, and hopeless. Eventually, an event, a person, or some form of information finds us and brings us back into equilibrium, ready to press on.
Five months ago, I lost my apartment and had to move back home with my mom, which was a worst-case scenario for the free bird I am. I have gone through all of the stages of grief about my perceived loss of freedom and have finally reached acceptance. I have finally realized that while my physical freedom reigns are no longer fully in my hands, the freedom of my spirit will ALWAYS belong to me. I had to remember that no matter what the external four walls I am in contain, my inner sense of freedom and optimism is always my responsibility. I had to put my ego aside and really sit with myself to realize that I am still free.

Card of the Day:
Today’s card of the day is the Page of Swords. The suit of swords represents mental processes and conflict related to ideas, thoughts, communication, and other topics associated with the air element.
The archetype of the page is the beginner, the one who sets out to accomplish some task on behalf of commands, a calling, or a higher power initiating them into this task.
The traditional interpretation of the page of swords combines the archetype of the initiating beginner, combined with the communication and truth aspects of the swords suit. So, this represents a messenger, a liaison, a mediator of sorts who is tasked to facilitate a delicate conversation with high mental or emotional stakes attached to it.
Personally, I relate to this card today as the reckoning between my inner masculine and feminine energies and the third party of the soul that must work to reconcile and balance these two opposing energies.
In any conflict, it is wise to have compassion for the other side and be mindful of keeping the heart space open in order to fully empathize and understand the other side. If both parties are willing to have a productive and truthful conversation, there are very few problems that cannot be solved.
