Is early access an excuse to release an unfinished product sometimes? Yea, for sure

But like. Functionally it serves as a way for live experience testing to be done on a game. It’s a way to dial it in on what people want, and on how to best make the game.

This means that, stars above, you don’t need to fucking review bomb it the second there’s a problem, you have avenues for giving feedback, stop saying the game is doomed because there’s been one bad update ffs

Aneurism Iv wouldnt have died so unceremoniously if the fucking community didnt armchair gamedev every single change that came to the game.

I have never heard worse opinions and seen worse game design changes anywhere, aniv takes the fucking cake.

And theres people demanding constant content updates, declaring that the games dying due to lack of content.... when there's three, THREE devs.

And they do listen but all they get to listen to is 99% of players shitting on every new addition to the game, saying they killed it by releasing a new map (the map being a genuine love letter to the community)

and since thats the majority of voices they hear they attempt to pander towards them.

and yet i still hope and cope that it'll crawl out of its pit and put itself back together because unfortunatelyi love the game.
