I miss this

I have given myself a promise, actually I've been thinking about this for a very long time. This year, I will be more the true me. I talk about art, I love art, I love culture, I love museums - those things. I read books. Light books, feel good stuff. It is me. I'm not trying to be pretentious and posh, I just wanna be me. The true me. I love to travel, I love to eat good food, I love the casual Friday night drink at home and I love that I am me, good or bad. Me!

Yesterday we celebrated my dear husbands birthday with a wee party with family. He got giftet pomegranates picked from Crete by his sister and brother in law. Such a sweet thing to bring home to him (us)

Ofcourse I had to take advantage of them and take some pictures. Finally the need to photograph a little bit is back, it has been lacking for a long time. I look at other peoples pictures and think they are wonderful, but nothing really has sparked in me. But buying a Christmas book with really wonderful moody pictures and these, they gave me the courage back to do some photography work.

I have already a plan for next weekend. Can't wait <3

Kruttårnet, Stavern, Norway. This was an old military fort and this house is where they had the gun powder - situated away from the rest of buildings. It is huge and it is such a stunning building. Today it is a art gallery and a popular spot to visit.
