Which Is More Attractive? Beard Or Clean Shaven Men?

It's a question which a lot of people are asking (apparently!) which is more attractive, bearded men or clean shaven men?

Well the answer is of course subjective. The good thing about having a beard is that it ages you up and makes you look more distinguished. This can also be a bad thing, if you've got a naturally old looking face.

The clean shaven look ages you down. So if you're naturally older, this might help.

Clean shaven is also really easy to maintain, and you can have a wet shave and be done with it.

Ever since the popularity of beards came into style several years back, people have asked this question. I've talked about beards or clean shaven on the blog and it's a really good style question.

The answer is obviously whatever your preference is. Beards are cool and so is the clean shaven look too.

Summer Fashion Essentials For Men In 2021

Summer is here! But what do you wear? If you're looking for some clothing tips for what to wear in the summer, I've got a few right here.

Men's fashion in summer is quite a simple thing. We've all got our own style, and it's as simple as wearing the best pieces which fit our own personal style.

From smart to relaxed, casual and smart-casual, there's plenty of clothes you can add or pull out of your wardrobe.

Some select and key pieces include a plain T Shirt, a good linen shirt and a pair of chinos as shown above.

Plain t shirts are timeless, can be worn with anything and come in a range of colours. White is always good and it gives off a classic look.

When it comes to linen shirts, you can wear a bright colour and it won't look out of place. Pick something that shows off your personality.

For your lower half, you might want to go for some chinos. Get a pair which are neutral in colour for a toned down look. Or you can go for something brighter if you want to make a statement.

The Best Men's Summer Fragrances For 2021

Looking to smell good this summer? I've picked out my favourite summer fragrances to make sure you smell good this season!

For me, summer fragrances are all about a few things. They should be either fresh, clean, citrus, floral or fruity. The dark and heavy musky scents can take a break for a little while and work better in the colder months anyway.

With that said, these are my favourite summer aftershaves. As you can see from above, I've picked out Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. It's a nice scent for the warmer weather, and it's really well balanced. It's got hints of citrus vibes, but also has that freshness that works well when it's hot.

There's plenty of other good fragrances to choose from in the summer. Included in the guide are bit hitters such as Creed Aventus, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum, Acqua Di Parma, Prada L'Homme, Bleu De Chanel and many more.

These Are The Best Printed Shirts You Can Buy This Summer 2021

If you want to stand out this summer with your clothes, one way of doing that is a printed shirt.

I love a good printed shirt for the summer. It's not a wardrobe piece which is going to be muted and understated, that's not what a printed shirt is about. A good printed shirt is designed to stand out, to make an impact and create a statement.

They're also supposed to be a bit of fun. Don't take yourself too seriously and check out these printed shirts for summer. I've rounded up some of the best you can buy at all price points.

This one here is a Wacko Maria Cheech & Chong printed shirt. This design option costs a lot, and is £399 which is a lot to pay for a shirt.

But I've picked out some more price friendly options from brands such as Pull & Bear, which do some great printed shirts for around £20.

Whatever your budget, there's plenty of choice to get into this fashion trend.

The Best Trainers & Latest Releases - June 2021 Update

There's so many good trainers which have been released this month! June is well underway, and there's some good options for new footwear from Adidas and Nike.

I've picked out some of my favourite of the latest releases, and you can find the best trainers here for a further view.

Pictured is the Air Max 90 in the black, white and purple colourway. The colours just work so well, creating a sleek and stylish silhouette which manages to look understated despite being quite bold in colours.

As well as those, there's a pair of Air Max 97's, the Converse x Comme Des Garcons collab and more.

The Best Polo Shirts To Wear This Summer

Want to dress a little smarter this summer? One way of looking smart as well as keeping cool is a polo shirt.

Swap the formal shirt for a polo, or swap the casual tee for a polo. Either way, they're the perfect in-between piece of clothing guys can wear for a bit of smart casual style.

I've rounded up some cool polo shirts here which you can buy right now. I think these are the best that summer has to offer this year.

But I have to talk about the two I've featured here. First up is the navy blue polo shirt from H&M. I love that it's a staple colour and can be worn with anything. It's super clean and minimal, and won't look out of place anywhere.

I think the best one this year has to go to Hugo Boss with this effort. I absolutely love this light blue colour. It's perfect for summer, and the polo comes with contrasting colour tipped sleeves and collar.

Fashion Tips - What To Wear With A Bomber Jacket

One of my favourite jackets to wear has to be a bomber jacket. Why?

They're so versatile! There's nothing you can't wear with them, you can wear them at almost any time and they're so great!

The cool casual jacket can be worn in so many different styles and colours, so there's plenty of choice that will fit your own personal style.

I've curated my own bomber jacket guide here which lays out everything you need to know. From the materials used to how to style them and what clothes to match up with them.

The bomber jacket I choose time and again is my cotton bomber jacket in navy. I got this from Jaeger and absolutely love everything about it.

The styling is minimal and the fit is so good. I've got plenty others from brands such as ASOS and Duck And Cover which I wear quite a bit. But when I want something smarter, the Jaeger jacket is the one I opt for.

In the image above you can see a bomber jacket outfit I think is cool. This one is a green bomber, styled with some grey jeans, white T Shirt and Converse High Tops. A pretty cool outfit I think!

Brand New Trainers For June 2021

The brand new trainers are here! I've curated the best trainers for June 2021 and here they are.

From the biggest sportwear brands such as Adidas and Nike, you can get your hands on many of these trainers right now.

When it comes to the latest releases, I'm breaking down what's hot and up and coming this month.

Pictured are a pair of my favourites from the drops this month. These are the Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet Puerto Rico edition. They come in the trademark silver bullet colourway, with special Puerto Rican finishing touches making them extra special.

For instance, you'll find the flag of Puerto Rico on a tab on the tongue, along with other branding throughout the shoe.

The New Inter Milan 4th Shirt! What Do You Think?

This shirt has just been released by Nike, and I love it. It's such a crazy design, with white, yellow, blue and black colours being used.

It combines lots of crazy patterns along with some colour blocking. The colours and the way the design has been done just works.

I love the placement of the sponsor Pirelli, which is vertical rather than a standard horizontal.

Nike have once again made a cool football shirt which has got people talking!

It's a shame that Serie A rules state that a shirt can only contain up to 3 main colours. That might mean we never see this in action! :( that would be a terrible shame.

Hopefully they can sort this out so we can see the guys wearing this on the pitch.

Selvedge Jeans Outfit Tips

If there's one thing I love, it's Selvedge Jeans. They're epic. There's nothing bad you can say about them.

One of the best things about them is the quality. It really is second to none. If you're after a good pair of denim, selvedge is what you want to be looking for.

Everyone knows the one tell tale sign of selvedge, that's the red line stitch when you roll up the leg. But what do you wear with them?

Well I've come up with some selvedge jeans outfits here. If you're wondering what to wear with selvedge denim, I've created 13 different looks for every different occasion.

They're best worn in either a casual or a smart casual manner. A night out with a good shirt, or dress them down with a casual T-shirt. There's not much that a good pair of selvedge doesn't do.

There's some really good brands which offer them too. My favourite being Nudie Jeans, but there's also PRPS, Evisu, Edwin and more

Fresh Trainers For April 2021 - The Early Update

We're into a new month! It's April 2021, and that means I want to talk about new trainers. Whether they've just been released or we're still waiting, there's always fresh kicks to talk about.

With two limited edition releases or the Air Max 96 II, the Skepta Air Max Tailwind V also caught my eye.

There was also the controversy over the Lil Naz X Trainers, aka the Satan Shoes. The limited edition kicks are subject to legal proceedings issued by Nike.

On the Adidas side of things, the Kermit The Frog x Stan Smiths are a pair of trainers really caught my eye.
