While visiting family in Money, Mississippi, 14-year-old Emmett Till, an African American from Chicago, is brutally murdered for flirting with a white woman four days earlier. His assailants–the white woman’s husband and her brother–made Emmett carry a 75-pound cotton-gin fan to the bank of the Tallahatchie River and ordered him to take off his clothes. The two men then beat him nearly to death, gouged out his eye, shot him in the head, and then threw his body, tied to the cotton-gin fan with barbed wire, into the river
Zimmerman encountered Martin, who had left the house to purchase Skittles and iced tea. Zimmerman shot the unarmed teenager in the chest. Martin died less than a hundred yards from the door of the townhouse in which he was staying.

James and Ronald were two of the many displaced in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina .The officers approached the bridge and opened fire on civilians; NOPD killed James , Ronald, and wounded three members of the Bartholomew family, of which James was a family friend

Young says he was abruptly approached out of the darkness by men in plainclothes with guns. Without identifying themselves, according to Young, they opened fire. Without any other recourse he dropped to the ground while being sprayed with bullets.
“I laid down ’cause they were shooting. I couldn’t do anything. I put my hands on top of my head. I could feel the bullet passing my head. I almost died…. I didn’t do anything wrong,” Young Said.

The federal jury awarded no damages to the father of Oscar Grant III, killed by a single shot to the back from BART Officer Johannes Mehserle early on Jan. 1, 2009 in Oakland.
We need black people on the grand jury! The grand jury and the justice decide the fate of our black victims more than their lawyers do. Lets get the grand jury full of black people so their murderers will no longer walk free while they lay in a casket under the earth! There are requirements you have to meet to get on the grand jury which I will post once I gather all of them.
