NO OFFENSE TO PREVIOUS ANON but as someone who watched carol and thoight it was mid as hell (sorry lesbian film community) i must reccomend desert hearts which like, totally filled the niche of yearning age gap lesbian tryst for me but was twice as weird on a script and scenario level. it definitely suffers from some pacing issues but its a good watch

omg yeah its on my watch list!! maybe ill do a double feature.. ill try to rope my gf into watching them with me since ive had a hard time w carol its always easier to watch smth with someone u love

carol and then desert hearts that way we can dunk on carol afterwards /j

but yeah ive watched quite a few lesbian movies and.. carol is not the one id recommend so vehemently i feel... (saying that with my only reference being that i tried watching it multiple times and it didnt work)

another age gap lesbian (ish) movie to watch, with an older blonde and a younger brunette, thats a bit fucked up and rlly entertaining (and has a delicious score) would be eilein LOL
