A small AU, If Jack and Randall ever met!

I’d have an idea that these two would have a lot in common, over a glass of splotch and slum, about new ways to innovate the company, seeing as Fear Co might be more suited to what Randall would want to accomplish! Even though Jack dislikes kids, and admired he’d be over Randall’s… business proposal. He’d be more concerned about the eventual lawsuits, had he considered Randall’s ‘revolutionary idea.’ 🤝⚙️

‘Like father, like son’. Up to this point of Johnnys cookie cutter life, he was the spitting image. 💯

I decided to age Jack, because there’s still not a lot known about him from the show, he’s either passed or retired. For my head-canon, he’s passed on, but as Jack was present for every hour he posed with his son, his presence like his oiled painted stare, never left.

Commissioned right after ‘Fang’ retired. Suffice to say, with his deep pocket, the artist was already hired, Jack just had to wait for Johnny to scratch his signature on the contract of Fear. Co. 📝

In some alt timeline, either Ryan has huge guts or Jack’s not as much of a tyrant, old Worthington is in the receiving end of Ryan’s cheeky attitude! Not to say Ryan wouldn’t respect his elders, but Jack never gave any, so.. hey why give it back?

Suffice to say, Ryan wouldn’t be able to resist sticking it back to ‘Fang’. A whack from his cane? Still worth it. 🃏

Johnathan's vintage scare card - Not to be confused, this is Jack / 'Fang' Worthington's Dad - Johnny's grandfather !

Johnathan Worthington was an earlier pioneer among thousands of monsters that were working the most efficient ways to refine scaring technology.

Whether he lived long enough to see his son's factory break headlines, is up to debate but he might have been the first trading card in Fear Co history to be printed! As a relic of the Worthington's triumph in the industry. 🏆

My latest animatic underway! - 3 days of work, even keeping it just as line art, but the exciting thing for me is getting to the edit process, including sound and the transition of each slide for the story! Very time consuming but this is by far one I’ve loved coming back to!

To say Ryan is terrified of Jack is an understatement, but Jack being caught out by an 8 year old is probably a big blow to his ego and status, but he’s still the monster in that equation 👹

The contrast with Pete and Jack has been parallel throughout my art & story. Pete’s not shy to maintain rules and manners with Ryan, yet he often can’t bring himself to say no to him, Jack who consumed by the need of power and authority, let that go to his head, and lost the touch of what a true dad means. While both monsters grew up in different decades, the balance between discipline and love matters in any child’s development.

Despite what you think of ‘Fang’ Worthington, he did fight for the best for Johnny, & in some way, Ryan exposed to his sledgehammer approach, made him a little stronger. 💪

Jack wouldn’t hold back, brazen he was and is, the entity had boiled into the shadow, not of himself, but one with it. The shadow that hung over Worthington Estate, Roar Omega Roar fraternity, and Fear Co. All the moments Ryan felt a chill, a flash of black, the cold stares on the walls of the nobles and ancestors, all compiled into the dark mass of the family matriarch. 👹

Ryan wasn’t ready to crumble, he was gambling a dangerous game, but he too wasn’t done with Jack, despite how much fear he wore. 💪

Jack has always a been amused by Vee, maybe he’ll smile now and then, but inside he is very charmed by her!

She pulls a mock, stern front like him, determined to get a smirk on his grumpy face. 😁
