hi ! i hope everyone’s been doing well ! i’ve been playing otome games again and that always sucks me in !! hmu if you’ve played obey me !!!

so , my father had someone come back positive while he was at work and , thankfully , he’s come back negative but the person who had gotten positive passed. of course , my father knew them better than i did but i’ve met them a few times , would say hello when i’d pass them --- even did a job interview with them --- and it’s just ... a really big reality check. i don’t like being reminded just how bad it is over here.

so , i’m not going to be on today. i can’t concentrate long enough. just knowing my father was so close ... being inevitable that if you live here , you’re going to run into this kind of news --- or this virus --- is just ... 

i’ll be on discord if you need me. you don’t have to thread lightly with me , distractions are fine and good. other than that , i’ll be doing what i’ve been doing since this started and using animal crossing as an escape. 

we’ll see if i come back this week. and , i’m not going to apologize this time for needing a moment. i’ve apologized a lot but it’s a pandemic. i’m not going to worry about being gone anymore.

Carefully, he lifts her by the hand. When she is high enough, Seteth wraps his arms around her knees and arms, lifting her up with ease. ❝ Let us just see if you can even make it there first, yes? ❞ 

        she yelps just a bit as he picks her up , a giggle passing through despite herself. she ... had thought he was joking , but he had sincerely decided to carry her. her own cheeks flush , because it’s seteth. goddess , she expected this to come from the professor before something like this would come from him. perhaps ... he wasn’t so heartless after all. not like manuela ever thought he was , but she’d been prepared for seteth to decide she’d be someone else’s problem. 

        she tries to hold on in what she thinks is a solid grip , but is more or less just an arm draping over his shoulders more than anything else. her head lulls sideways , but doesn’t rest on him. instead her eyes stare at his profile.

        “ ... you didn’t say no. “ flirty , yes , but also a bit surprise that he didn’t shoot that down immediately either. of course , manuela didn’t think he was actually considering it , but ... it was as if he played along. just a little bit , anyway. “ i hope i’m not too heavy for you. though , you lifted me as if all i weighed was a feather ... hiding some muscle under that ensemble , hmm ? “
