I can’t believe I have to say this but if an artist shows you their art don’t say “…I don’t really like it.”

Even if you don’t see this as bullying or something like that it can really hurt the artist.

It doesn’t matter if the artist is your friend or sibling or someone you’re really close to. Just don’t say it.

I showed my fuck ass brother my art and said I didn’t really know how I felt about it and he said he didn’t like it. I had already been contemplating quitting art and this just made me want to quit more.
