Trevor feels bad for putting the other on the spot like hehad. “Sorry about that, didn’t mean to make you feel bad about being new——— Ican usually tell when people are surprised by something like what justhappened. When you’ll have lived around for a couple years, you’ll understand.Fair warning, if you can get out of town for a week or two during Halloween, I’ddo it. Always weird things happening around that time.” Trevor warns the otherwith a gentle smile. “It’s something indeed——— but it’s home. At least, for me.”He’s aware not everyone feels the same about it. Some even detest it, and wouldwish to see it burned to the ground, and Trevor will fight those until none areleft. Or until he ends up like the rest of his family – dead.
“More than you’d think. Like I said… October – bad month tobe around.” Although, he still laughs about it. He smiles reassuringly to theother. “Sometimes, the memories dissipate very quickly, so they won’t botheryou for long.” Trevor understand perfectly how the other says he’s feeling, it’swhy he doesn’t go out much, and keeps to himself most of the time— becauseCovaire is too much for him most of the time. “Just be more selective of thepeople you hang out with. You’re an escort, so you luckily have a say in it.”
“No, thanks for the warning. I appreciate it. I move around a lot and it never gets easier. But Covaire is definitely something else, I wasn’t really expecting all of this.” Mika chuckles as he muses his hair, a puzzled look crossing his face at the mention of October. Weird things happened around October? So, things could get weirder than they already had been? He nods at Trevor’s words, taking his word for it. He wants to ask him what kind of weird things but he figures he’ll find out eventually. “What a time to be... me. Wow immortality is exhausting.”M/small>
“They say home is where the heart is.” He hums softly. He’s never fully felt at home anywhere himself but perhaps Covaire could be his permanent home in time. “I take it you’ve been here your whole life? That must’ve been wild. I mean it’s just odd having memories that never really happened?” Mika mutters, still trying to make sense of the whole mind trip. “I kind of wish that it worked for all memories. Just be a blank slate.” He chuckles off-handedly, voicing his own private thoughts. Smiling at Trevor softly he can’t help but feel they’re kindred spirits. Even if they don’t share the same status, that matters not to the elysian. “Are you speaking from experience? Because you seem pretty social to me. Or is that just a mask?”
