Gold for the bride? Say less.

Shout-out to my friend who saw me go through the stages of grief throughout the making of this drawing. I wanted to finish this before June (got stuck with the vows), finished yesterday but had a lingering doubt about the groom attire during weddings AND TURNS OUT MEN WEAR A BLACK CEREMONIAL GEAR WITH GOLDEN RUNES. Originally, I thought "Gold is for weddings" not "Gold for the bride." So I had made a golden jacket and made him wear gold as well but had to spend most of the day recoloring it because I am insane. 😃

And truth to be told, if their wedding happens in TWP, I will only read that part. 👏🏻I👏🏻DEMAND👏🏻THEIR👏🏻WEDDING👏🏻I need it.

Also, there are little to no fanarts of weddings. And most of them the men are in simple black suits, which is fine for a groom... But when the bride is IZZY LIGHTWOOD?! And the brother-in-law is THE MAGNUS BANE?! Yeah, no. He needs to look just as fine as her. I just wanted to go all out for her. Now I can go back and rest because this drawing took all of my will to live with all the details. 🥹

Though it's mostly for myself and for the fanfic I'm writing with an OC 🤡 So... Yeah.

I've never drawn Jo Keery or Steve at all and I'm kind of terrified of messing it up. I'm already nervous to move on to my OC, idek how I did him.

Answering this super late but I truly appreciate this.

I have been in an art block for probably the longest time ever and just when I was going to slowly get out, I got a new job and I haven't had the time nor energy to get drawing until today.

I was honestly thinking about working on Jonathan Shadowhunter, his sister Abigail, and David the Silent just because one day I woke up with the idea. But I haven't been able to finish the sketches and just today wanted to work on an OC.

But hopefully I can finish that. It was either that or finish the period accurate dresses for Tessa that I never finished but whenever I open the drawing the laziness comes back instantly. Thinking about having to look for a dress she'd wear and draw it gives me a headache lol. It's not Tessa's fault, it's the dresses.

Idk why every time I have all the time in the world I get an art block and whenever I'm completely busy and tired my inspiration flows back in. It's happened more than once lol.

But again, thank you and everyone for the support. It's really good after moving from Instagram to here.🤍

I'm trying to do some research and study of THE Jonathan Shadowhunter and I forgot they give the name Jonathan away like candy and I had to specify which one I was looking for on the search bar.

It's kind of hard to look for fanarts of certain characters. IMPORTANT characters in the plot, but somehow they have less fanarts than I have emotional stability.

Switching from Instagram back to Tumblr is a little tedious. But I'm glad that the memes and fanarts are quickly getting attention. Especially now that I'm in a really ugly art block, it's really reassuring.

I stopped because I realized the proportions of the face were wrong AND I need to change the color for the lighting. And also because I wanted him to look more sick and I couldn't do it properly.

So it's been sitting unfinished for under a year. 😐 Art block is funny like that. It was at the same time I was doing that Sizzy wedding fanart, I burned out so fast but at least they're slaying in gold. ☠️

I remember I was bored and I just had the sudden idea to make Jem both victorian and dilf—sorry, healed mortal version.

I love him in every era. I never played with him. I don't even remember if I still have the sim in my gallery to be honest.

This game is probably the easiest way of making references lmao. I made Simon in the Sims 3 as well hahaha.

Here's a weird one I forgot.

HEAR ME OUT IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!

No, actually it is what it looks like, but let me explain.

This is from I think 2020 or 2021. I got into a group in Twitter and we would make stupid jokes about the silent brothers' telepathy and how convenient it was that they would start calling Brother Zachariah when he was out looking for Will's long lost family.

So we just started joking around that Brother Enoch was jealous and was always calling him back to the silent city. And I was the only artist in the group, so I did the funny thing to draw them like this and it just makes no sense and it's still funny to me.

It was during Covid. No one was in their sane minds. Shipping Brother Enoch and Brother Zachariah was a joke.

But I'll tell you what isn't: I do genuinely ship Jonathan Shadowhunter and David the Silent.

The Parabatai ceremony is almost like a wedding. It was the medieval times. You fill in the blanks. 🤨 That oath is a little too much like wedding vows. They're not slick, I see the rainbow from centuries away. 🏳️‍🌈🫵🏻

"But Julian and Emma—" David became the first silent brother so the bond was broken before there were any repercussions. Boom. (I'm delusional)

Getting charged with trespassing ✌🏻 Called Magnus to "bail" them out.

Believe it or not, I was going to do this meme in May of 2023 with Magnus, Ragnor, Catarina, and Tessa getting arrested in Peru but it was around the time I hit the very long art block. So it's a LONG overdue meme. When I was looking back at the unfinished sketches I thought it would be better to change it and I think it's funnier this way. When I was drawing Simon my head just made the connection with Scooby Doo so it was X10 funnier in my head.

Like in a random alternate reality the police dept. was called about some disturbance at the hotel Dumort and they all got arrested for trespassing. I don't know, I just think it's funny. I would also like to point out that Izzy is like 1 or 2 inches taller than me. That made me feel a little better about myself.

I got hit with an art block and I was finally able to draw this since um... *Looks at the date* NOVEMBER 30 😃

I am trying to do something, and I was liking it until I hated it and then when I made a quick sketch of one of my OCs, and did the bare minimum with coloring that turned out better than what I was doing with them. So now debating whether or not to redo the color (that I spent weeks on) or not.

I was expecting it to be like a full, complete, drawing for 2024 but I'm nowhere there yet. So I might just start posting sketches for now until I eventually get them done.

The problem is that I'm starting to lose some interest in TSC and I don't feel confident enough to be drawing HP or PJO (the fandoms scare me so much). So we might try those 6 characters fanarts things I do every now and then.

For now, this is all I got. 😭

Now, on to 2025... HA ☠️ This is still NOT done. The more I looked at it, the more I didn't like it, and the base colors made me realized I also had to fix the anatomy proportions and I just hadn't been able to touch it since.
