Don’t worry though, I wouldn’t forget the little people if I ever become famous. If you ever want an autograph, feel free to ask. I’m happy to give ya one. Only in the shower. But there are loads of rockstar’s that only play guitar. That’s all good, dude, I got nothin’ but time. 

That’s a relief ha ha - the little people. Maybe I should just get an autograph in advance, so when you get famous I can have proof I knew you beforehand. Well I guess the shower is where you can really rock out. Sounds like a deal.

She loved his laugh and smile, she wondered if he knew that. She nodded at his words, it really was good to get a break. He moved to the bed and she appreciated the fact that he gave her space, though she wanted to talk to him, she wasn’t sure what was going to happen. As he spoke she sighed, “I guess a part of me didn’t want that, another part did. with everything that happened I both wasn’t ready to talk about it but also I was ready in a way.” She but her bottom lip before turning to him completely. “I was so excited you agreed to come iwth me to the party. And when we kissed in your room I thought that we were moving in a good direction. And dancing, spending the night talking and you kissing me at midnight, that was the best night of my life. But then I heard you kissed Brittany and I realized that you didn’t feel the same.” 

Mike smiled softly “I think I understand”, he commented. He knew how it felt feeling opposite feelings at once sometimes. He made sure to listen very carefully to everything Mercedes was saying, and to show her that he was indeed interested in her perspective. “Okay.. Well, I certainly agree with you for the most part”, he said with a little smile, as he looked into Mercedes’ eyes. “I really enjoyed our time getting to know each other better and then when we met up at the party, I couldn’t help but feel amazed to spend such an incredible night with you. I’m attracted to your person, your mind, your wit and well”, he paused, “Obviously your looks”, he added with a little laugh. “I had the best night, spending it with you”. He then paused, reflecting on how to comment on the part about Brittany. “I don’t really know how to explain what happened with Brittany. In all honesty we was talking to her family on facetime and she wanted to prove I was real, so she kissed me. I didn’t really think anything of it, so I didn’t tell you, because I didn’t think it was necessary - and I’m so sorry that it led to a misunderstanding”, he said, hoping he was explaining himself properly.

 As he walked into her room couldn’t stop herself from looking him up and down, the man did still make her heart race. As his joke she gave a soft smile at the room she made at home. “Yep this is me, don’t mind the candles they are mostly for show and I basically give them as gifts cause I can’t stop buying them. “ She said laughing at herself. She loved scented candles. “Plus they really helped with the whole smelling like food thing.” Moving to sit on her bed she chewed her bottom lip, how was she supposed to bring up what happened? Do you rip off the band aid or do you ease into it? “Soooo you haven’t stopped by the kitchen.”

Mike’s smile grew and he let go of a chuckle as Mercedes commented on her candles. He could see clearly how she would spread joy amongst her friends by giving small gifts like candles. “I can imagine. I mean food is great, but you must like to get a break from it sometimes”, he said, small-talking. He watched Mercedes as she moved over to her bed, and he took it as an invitation to do the same. He made sure to sit with some distance, so she wouldn’t feel like he was invading her space while he still wanted to show that he was interested in her. His smile faded a bit, but was still soft and genuine. “No.. I haven’t. I had a feeling you didn’t really want me stopping by, and I guess I didn’t have the courage to do so because I didn’t really understand what was going on”, he said, first looking away before making eye contact with the woman in front of him, before continuing “And maybe that shouldn’t have stopped me, but I was hearing some rumors around the resort, that made me feel like I should give you some space”, he said with a little shrug.

I’d love to show ya some of the tunes I can whip out. For a bit I wanted to be a rockstar, so having a fan would totally make me feel that way. If ya wanted, I could totally teach you a few things. I got two guitars.

I’ll definitely be your fan! And I can totally imagine you as a rockstar, with tons of adoring fans surrounding you while you play. Then I would be the OG fan. You sing as well? Dude that would be fun, but I can’t promise you it won’t take some time.

F2F || Mikecedes || The Talk

Mercedes took a deep breath as she looked at herself in the mirror. Mike was coming over so they could talk and she was worried about what that talk was going to lead too. She really liked Mike. Talking to him, would mean admitting that she got her hopes up, admitting that she was hurt by his actions. And since they weren’t together she didn’t know if she had a right to be upset. And maybe so much time had past that he didn’t want her anymore, if he wanted her at all. Hearing a knock on the door she smoothed down her dress and reapplied her lip gloss before going to the door. “Mike, come on in.” She said moving tot he side so he could enter.

Mike was tossing a hand through his hair as he walked around in his room, before taking on last look in the mirror. He was pretty nervous about going over to talk to Mercedes, and he wasn’t quite sure why.. From what he knew, he hadn’t really done anything that could have hurt her feelings, though he had heard some whispers around the resort, that he supposedly had. He took a deep breath and made an attempt to calm his nerves, before he left his room and made his way towards Mercedes’. He looked at the door for a while, before getting himself to knock on it. It didn’t take long before Mercedes opened the door, and the first thing he thought of, was how nice it was to actually see her up close again - He felt like he had only caught glimpses of her through the last few weeks. “Hey Mercedes, thanks”, he said softly, offering her a smile, before making his way inside. He looked around her room curiously, since he hadn’t been there before, also wondering where he should place himself or sit. “So this is where the Mercedes Jones lives”, he commented, trying to be funny and lighten the mood, before getting too serious.

Yeah I still play. I whip it out when I get bored and want somethin’ to do.  I gotta be honest, it did take a while to master, no turning back now though. 

I would love to hear you jam out at some point! I’m not very musical, but I love it when other people can sing or play instruments. Well as we’ve talked about earlier, practice makes perfect haha.

I get you. Sometimes curiosity gets the best of people. I really assume most of the stuff happened from drunk accidents or people who don’t know how things work.

That sure is true. I would love it if a fence broke.. Well not love it since you would have to fix it, but if a fence had to break, I would love for it to be because of people who don’t know how fences work - but I think I have more faint in humanity than that.

I’m glad the good won out. My night was a lot of fun, thanks. I didn’t end it throwing up like last year so that’s always a bonus. 

yeah, as long as that is the case everything will work out, right? Ey, good for you! I did have to seek rescue in the bathroom once, but I didn’t end up throwing up either.

Oh cool! I took guitar lessons when my parents noticed it was one of the few things I really focused on when stealing my Grandpa’s one. But the best dance move I got is my body roll. 

So do you still play? Well that is one heck of a move, so good thing you know how to do it, right?

Sounds like you had loads of fun. I noticed your sweet moves out on the dancefloor, where did you learn to dance so good? 

Ey thanks man. I appreciate it. Well, my parents signed me up for dance lessons from childhood to teach me discipline, and then I took a liking to it and started dancing a lot.. Like, all of the time.

It’s nice to ease back into it though; given how full blast we’ve been running since just before Thanksgiving.  New Years kind of fell perfectly for being the end of the holiday season and sending a majority of people home.

That is true, there has surely been enough to do. Yeah, it’s a new beginning in several ways. A new year, new guests and maybe other things like.. I don’t know, new members of the staff if some are going home for the season.

Now that he was talking about dancing again, Hunter kind of missed it.  He might have to look and see if there was a studio near by.  He nodded his head.  “Say, let me know if you do talk to management about it and they give it a go.  I might be up for checking it out myself.”  He chuckled.  “All this dance talk is making me want to get out on the dance floor tonight, and I didn’t think that was going to happen.”

Mike couldn’t help but smile at Hunter’s cheerful comment. “I promise I’ll let you know. Fingers crossed”, Mike replied, before letting go of a little laugh. “Oh, then you definitely have to get out on the dance floor, and show how it’s done”, Mike said. He would definitely like to see Hunter dance as well, since Mike did enjoy watching others dance.

Mike: I don't really understand what you mean by that? But maybe that is what we should talk about. I think it would be a shame to ruin whatever this is, if it's because of a misunderstanding?

What was the coolest thing that happened? I know, right? Its not often it happens so you gotta take the wins when you get them. 

Well - I guess that was spending time with everyone, having some.. interesting.. talks with some people and of course all of the major awesome dance battles on the dancefloor. Definitely!

Tina: Yeah, that's true. I did hear about you though, but there's a lot of people called Mike, haha.

Tina: I'm pretty sure she dated others than me later, but I tried not to get too involved with that.

Tina: Both? She was great, it was mostly my fault that we didn't end up dating longer.

Tina: So you guys were kinda like high school sweethearts, huh?

Mike: Oh really? Damn. Only good things I hope!

Mike: Yeah, I can understand that. I mean depending on what happened between you guys, it's not always exactly productive to keep up with ex's.

Mike: Okay, well I'm glad there were something good to it as well.

Mike: Haha, yeah I guess you can call it that. She was my high school sweetheart at least :)
