Ugh, this makes me so fucking uncomfortable and honestly REALLY angry.

Tarzan is already a White Savior shit show of a story, full of INCREDIBLE racism. I’m DEEPLY grossed out by the idea of turning the apes into black people (which let’s face it, Burroughs already coded them as) and then having Tarzan as a white boy with fucking dreads. (Yes, I know that’s in his character design, it was gross when Disney did it too.)

Like do white artists EVER think about this shit?
