2026 - 2025 - 2024 - 2023
in spite of it all, happy 2026 pride.
you can download current and past hi-res versions of these over at my ko-fi (ok to print for personal use): https://ko-fi.com/mxmorgan/shop/freedownloads
you can also snag shirts here which go to various orgs: https://mxmorgan.threadless.com/collections/pride
these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.
final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍
at some point in your life you will be boiling fruit, water, sugar, and lemon juice in a pot to make a syrup or jam. the instructions will tell you to simmer for a certain amt of time. your timer will go off and you will look at the pot and go, "hm, this doesn't look thick enough. maybe i'll let it go for another 10 minutes." this is the devil speaking. it's only so liquid right now because it is at boiling point. it will thicken when it cools down. learn from the follies of my youth and do not let this happen to you
at some point in your life you will be making a sauce or a stew in which you need to add cornstarch to thicken it. and you will prepare a slurry of starch in cold water and think "this looks like way too little starch to thicken this amount of liquid." this is the devil speaking. cornstarch instantly polymerizes at 95°C and if you add too much it will turn into an impossibly thick goop.
at some point in your life you will be making some sort of cream based dessert that requires gelatin to thicken it. and you will soak some gelatin sheets in water and think "this is too few gelatin sheets for this amount of cream." this is the devil speaking. it will thicken in the fridge and if you add too much you will end up with milk jelly
at some point in your life you will be baking cookies. you will take the sheet out after twelve minutes as the recipe instructs and the cookies will still be glistening and soft. "these don't seem cooked enough," you will think to yourself, "i should place them back into the oven until their edges are nice and golden." this is the devil talking. this is how you get dry, overdone cookies. the cookies will continue to bake on the warm sheet for several more minutes and then harden up after sitting on a rack for a while. trust the process. trust the process.
at some point in your life you will be adding a small pasta to a soup and you will think "that is not enough small pasta." this is the devil talking. the pasta will absorb the stock and expand. this is how you end up with a soup that is a solid mass of soggy ditalini.
At some point in your life you will be adding garlic to a dish and you will think "that is not enough garlic." These are angels speaking. They are correct. Add more garlic.
In the early 70s Sesame Street was created with an eye towards educating poor, inner-city children for free, and became a massive hit with all children. In 2016, faced with going off the air forever after facing conservative efforts to destroy public broadcasting since basically its beginning, new episodes became a timed exclusive for premium cable network HBO. In 2022 HBO Max, newly merged with and taken over by reality TV channel Discovery, removed Sesame Street episodes and spin-offs from streaming as a tax write-off and scheme to avoid paying residuals.
Sesame Street's official YouTube channel is uploading the episodes for free, btw. A lot of creators are rebelling against this bullshit.
Sesame Street on PBS KIDS. Play games with Elmo, Big Bird, Abby and all of your Sesame Street friends. Watch videos and print coloring pages
As always, America, PBS has you and your kids' backs.
I also want to put in a plug for the American Archive of Public Broadcasting, spearheaded by GBH in Boston to preserve and make available public funded programming from around the country. More than 7000 public television and radio programs are available to stream through the website, with more than 40000 hours of programming archived and available to researchers and educators through the Library of Congress and GBH itself.

Hey, did you know archive.org has a bunch of free 90s shows you can stream?
The problem is finding them, since no one's organized them all in one place with covers and episode info. I'm trying to fix that with my new website.
It's in BETA right now, and all the content was just added today, so I've barely scratched the surface of what's out there.

i watched one (1) video on how to draw hands that changed my life forever. like. i can suddenly draw hands again
these were all drawn without reference btw. i can just. Understand Hands now (for the most part, im sure theres definitely inaccuracies). im a little baffled
for those of u asking for the vid!
I've recently been made aware that if you are thinking of switching to Linux or want to switch but don't know how there's a great website made just to help people migrating from Windows to Linux.
The website has a long list of supporters, so if you really know nothing and / or are afraid of trying it and messing something up you will be able to get professional help from this website.
Extended support for Windows 10 ends in 2026. Don’t buy a new PC — revive yours with Linux. It's fast, secure, and help is available to get
There's even a list of places where you can go physically to get help. All over the world, not just in the USA by the way.
Say goodbye to Microsoft treating you like you don't own your PC. Say goodbye to intrusive features you didn't ask for. Say goodbye to ads on the OS you paid for.
Save your PCs from joining the massive amount of e-waste caused by Microsoft's unnecessary requirements.
Wonderful find and incredibly helpful for those wanting to try out Linux, for those who don't want windows 11, and for those who are simply curious.
What i dont understand is how can my old old (not the current one, but older) be usable again with a linux kernel? Would i be able to connet to internet?? Will it be able to use a antivirus, or it doesnt really matter with a linux distro, even an old one?
You should be able to use a linux kernel whatever model of computer you have. Even a raspberry pi can run a linux kernel so you shouldn't have any performance issues.
The question regarding connecting to internet would be highly dependent on whether your hardware (the computer itself and the chips inside) has vulnerabilities.
I'm not specialised in hardware vulnerabilities but I know you can check if there's publicly known vulnerabilities on https://www.cvedetails.com/ . Sometime just checking on the internet "[model of computer] vulnerabilities" also gives some great results.
I would honestly always recommend to use an anti-virus (not a free one and preferably a European one) no matter what OS you have on your computer :)
Thank you so much, i need to put some work into all this!! Checking the website rn!!!
I will say though, like 95% of Linux users don't use an antivirus. This is because:
1. There's not many viruses made for Linux due to lack of popularity but also because...
2. ... With Linux being open source, attackers aren't fighting a small team with a 9 to 5 job, but thousands of volunteers throughout the world. There's always someone awake at any given moment and thousands looking at the code. Things are either caught before release, found before attackers even know there was a vulnerability in the first place or, on the worst case scenario, will be fixed hours later after there being an issue. And we also have company employees besides volunteers. Google needs the Kernel for Android (and ChromeOS). IBM owns Red Hat Linux. Steam needs no mention since they use Linux on their PCs at the company and are actively working with other Linux developers on the Kernel because of SteamOS. And because of Azure servers and Windows Subsystem for Linux even Microsoft employees are finding and fixing Linux vulnerabilities. One of my favourite stories is that time a Microsoft employee found and fixed a backdoor issue in Linux because Secure Shell was taking 500 ms too long.
3. Most people download their apps either through the distro Software Stores or, if you're more technical, through trusted repositories through the Terminal. You usually don't download apps through the browser, which may have bad actors pretending to be another app, apps that are on websites with malicious ads, apps that weren't checked by anyone, and so on.
I'm not against having an antivirus and I know there are antiviruses for Linux but I've never used one and can't tell you a single name of one.
All this to say: if you install an antivirus and it's making your system too slow or annoying you too much, you could get rid of it without worrying too much for your system. But do whatever makes you feel safer.

not many people know that sanity and insanity are legal , not psychological, constructs which are assessed in relative proximity to a consensus reality. and even fewer people truly understand the implications of this fact. sanity is, over everything else, the determination that you are entitled to a privileged legal status, one in which your agency is not compromised and in which your consent matters. the mad must be understood as a politically marginalized class because, among other more abstract reasons, our class is constructed explicitly as such by the letter of the law.
it is no coincidence that the rise of Black radicalism in the US in the 1950s was closely followed by an abrupt demographic shift in schizophrenia diagnoses (typically treated with psychiatric incarceration, powerful sedatives, and a variety of experimental surgeries). which had once been a disciplinary label for inadequate white housewives was now assigned to black men whose politics often so happened to draw the wrong attention. but even now, the idea of a psychotic inmate whose conspiracies are proven true is a stock character - a twee bit of comic relief when aliens are afoot or a too-sincere premise of a syfy original - rather than a literal reality suffered by so many (typically multiply oppressed) mad people.

I'm sorry to say that if jumping on slippery rocks isn't a major aspect of your backstory then you'll absolutely be rolling dex saves to avoid falling into the water while crossing. Fortunately, unless you've written a fatal weakness to water into your backstory, you'll probably make it out alright.

Force Remove Copilot, Recall and More in Windows 11 - zoicware/RemoveWindowsAI
Hey everyone, I know it's going to be a busy day for a lot of people, but Google enrolled everyone over 18 into their AI program automatically.
If you have a google account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off.
Then you need to go to myactivity.google.com/product/gemini and turn off all Gemini activity tracking. You do have to do them in that order to make sure it works.
Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.
I saw this over on bluesky and figured it would be good to spread on here. It only takes a few minutes to do.
Writers: It's asking to read your Google Docs and be able to 'summarize' things from them and such things. I just turned all mine off.
Because this isn't mentioned above, also go to google.com/drive/settings and turn off all the annoying bits that interface directly with docs there.
This is all in the "privacy" tab of your settings. How fun that everything is hidden two layers deep. 🙄 This DOESN'T get rid of the stupid little star constantly asking you to use it, unfortunately, but that's what the picker in ublock is for. 😉
More detail instructions for OP's post for those who are confused. This is done from the browser on my laptop, I don't know what they look like on phones.
When you click the first link gemini.google.com/extensions, you need to click on the setting icon at the bottom, then choose "Extension", like this:
Scroll down a bit, you will see the options, turn them all off.
Then, you click on the second link myactivity.google.com/product/gemini, you'll see it tells you that it's already "turn off". NO! IT'S NOT! You have to click on that "Turn off" option, it'll drop down a menu like this:
Turn that thing off. Until that button shows you have to click to turn it back on like this:
And then, click on the delete button down there too, even if it says there's nothing to delete, just do it as a caution.
After you's done with those two. You go to your Drive, find the Setting button.
Click on the "Privacy" tab, choose the button "Manage Workspace smart feature setting"
Tick both of those off, then click Save. Or if you still want to use Google AI assistant for some reasons, please read the fine lines very very carefully.
Only then, you can feel safe enough with this force AI assistant bullshit. FOR NOW 🤡 All these steps still can't get rid of that Gemini blinkblink icon though >:(((((
Repeat for every one of your google accounts 💀
can confirm it looks pretty much the same on mobile
if you already had your google account on the highest privacy settings possible (as i did with my main), gemini is off by default, there won't be anything in the extensions tab and you don't have to turn it off
but i did have to go through this process with my other accounts, so do check all of them
Let’s not overlook how it always seems to be black women targeted either.
lest we forget
