I've just been needing to write this down somewhere its probably not interesting to many people but its there.
I've been on a bit of a mental journey recently hence why the lack of posting to this blog, after some massive changes made to my life not of my own doing it came as a massive shock, mainly because i was comfortable and happy. after a build up of stress i had a complete and utter mental breakdown, panic attacks, depression, anxiety all sorts. Even after all these things happening my main interest was to make sure the people around me were happy, that's always how I've worked. i'd make other people happy before i even looked out for myself.
For a while i thought i had to get my old life back where i was comfortable and happy but the truth is i wasn't experiencing life the best i could. a lot of my time would be spent in my head over thinking things. Stress wouldn't leave my body and it would build up until i break down over and over.
Now i know people all around the world have been in worse condition/positions than i have been, but its the experience that people take from these things that happen in life that could bring people together.
I've never seen myself in a position to pass on a message or advice to a large group of people, but i can always try, after a long string of ups, downs, mood swings, ongoing therapy, ongoing medication, an attempted overdose, mindfulness awareness training and meditation. i've learnt a few simple lessons i wish the world would take on, and that's to slow down, to not think but feel, to take a few minutes in our busy days to just be, to sit with no goals and just enjoy the feeling of being a human being. i know way too many people who get wound up all the time, who i'm sure see life as a competition that its survival of the fittest, I see life as an experience, for some reason humans have forgotten how to experience life for what it is, i genuinely think that if people wanted to experience the best life possible the world would be a nicer place, making life a greater experience for others.
bad things will happen in life, good things will happen in life, accept it, view the world with a beginners mind, be curious, be excited be non judging everyone experiences a different life. your life will have constant variables everything is changing.
thank you for reading this far. i only have one more thing to ask dear reader, take a deep breath through your nose down to your belly, feel the cold air through your nose and feel the warm air leaving through your nose, appreciate every breath, its one of the only things that are constant throughout your life, your first breath starts your experience, your breath is always there throughout your experience, and your breath ends the same time as your experience.
