let's all take a moment to appreciate the unintended poetry that is a necromancer, who has spent most of his life surrounded by the undead and who should in theory be right at home in hell, a realm of death, not only wanting to escape said realm and return to the land of the living but also falls head over heels in love with a woman whose entire goal is to bring life and nature back to hell...stunning, no notes

God I love the way Kennit is written/the way his character pays off. I love the way his chapters conceal so much and the reader thinks they know why but they DON'T and that reveal is BRUTAL. I love how he charms the characters, the readers and himself into believing there is a world in which he is redeemed. He is the luckiest man alive and even that doesn't save him??? Insane. And the way it's just you and his luck-charm seeing all cracks forming and all the ways in which he is despicable, even before he crosses the line. The way in which both the characters and readers know when he's gone too far?? It's all so meta and so well written and so horrid and he is his fathers' son and how does robin hobb do this every time

For anyone who has forgotten because I'm a slow thing when it comes to replying, these sunflowers were essentially a 'do whatever you want in reply' thing. So I will use this as an excuse to give a wee teaser of the next dramatic irony chapter. I have gotten to the point in writing where I thoroughly forget the ship I am supposed to be writing for because I am far too caught up in the relationships and internal worlds of all the characters. Soooooo you are gonn get a cute TrevAnn interaction instead :) because I am silly and I love their friendship so much. Enjoy!

All Trevor could do to the obvious abuse of his body temperature was to chuckle and wonder to himself how in hell he had been living life without Annie Twilloil before this. It boggled his mind that they had just met at the start of the year, but he wasn’t about to go wishing it away, instead drawing his arm out from her grasp to bring it around her shoulder so she could walk even closer as they traversed the frigid hallways of this godforsaken drama department.
