Watched the German news today.

Red/green city government in Berlin is trying to get an anti-discrimination law ratified that makes police accountable for their actions!!!

When a person comes forward with discrimination claims they would believe the victim’s claims first and police would have to proof that it wasn’t discrimination.

The police speakers are so scared of this! They’re like “there was never any discrimination”, “this is leftist propaganda”, “how will we work if this gets ratified?” 🙃

The reporter was repeatedly asking what the problem is because if there’s no discrimination then things would be the same after this law, right? The police spokesperson got so mad. Had no answer to the question.

I hope Berlin pushes through and this becomes law worldwide.

Keep demanding justice!

Get literally ANY member of the police you have the misfortune of knowing well enough and just let them talk about their job for a while. On their own, they will eventually start raving about this and that really-not-discriminatory thing they did and how everyone CALLS it discriminatory but it's really not, but... It is. You can then tell them it is or leave it (it makes no difference, they'll do it again in the future). But it is. And always was.

Even the "good cops" in Germany ABSOLUTELY engage in racial profiling and discrimination.

Kudos to Berlin.
