skyward sword sequel game where ghirahim is link's sword because he cannot be without a master, and link takes on the responsibility to protect everyone else. he's very unwieldy at first though so the sword moves very slowly in response to the motion controls. and ghirahim is contantly bitching at you and insulting you the entire time

"i told you to swing THAT way, sky child." "are your hands even WORTHY of holding me?" "how DARE you waste my power on such filth." "i will snap every bone in your worthless body if you don't move FASTER."

if you thought fi was disruptive, you'll enjoy ghirahim. he's a hundred times more annoying (and horny)

I love the character designs in Zelda, playing botw is actually what got me into character design in the first place, but the designs for female characters are honestly kinda meh. I mean, it’s waaay better than a lot of games out there, but it still feels like they’re designing women, not characters. Like the Zora, all the male characters look like a cool fantasy fish race, and then we get to Ruto and she… looks like that. The designs for the Zora in botw are a lot better, but we’ve still got the weird “cute small pretty girl” thing going on with Mipha while the main male characters are these huge intimidating sea monsters. I know none of this is like groundbreaking analysis or anything, but I just need somewhere to vent that doesn’t bore my irl friends into oblivion
