idgaf too much about digital circus really but i keep seeing all the drama from it lately 😭

tbh i kind of wanted to like the show but it feels hard to enjoy when the character thats coded to be a abuse victim constantly be the butt of jokes involving repeated physical assault (cartoon violence ig but ok) and harassment by a man that gets constantly woobified and barely faces any consequences for his behavior on top of getting sidelined from the plot

#not that jax isn't an interesting character on his own i guess but as someone who relates to rags a lot #it starts to get tiring when fandoms and even the writers themselves hype up or woobify male characters that get to be evil or mean or toxic #at the expense of their fem (+ genderqueer) characters i guess.#like we get it you say “don't excuse his behavior!” but then have the show constantly focus on him and make him sympathetic. idk its tiring #will probably just start muting tags and blocking it on other socmeds im just tired of it atp #nea.txt

i love when characters are liars. i love when they're vain. i love when they don't know how to communicate, or simply refuse to. i love when they cause problems for themselves and also other people that could've easily been avoided. i love when they're too stubborn for their own good and end up making things worse. i love when they're consumed by guilt and grief. i love when they want to die
