i think i'm going on meds soon but there's something so thrilling about the emotional rollercoaster of "wow i'm like actually feeling fine today?" to "what is my preferred method of non-life for momentary reference" that i think i'll really miss
samira mohan is my beautiful angel princess and i am fully prepared to fight anyone who disagrees
emma nolan is also part of my beautiful angel princess crew btw
introducing my favorite ao3 tag in the pitt fandom
oh yes,
shawn and supriya both saying they're on board with the ship and that they played it as a flirtation in s1
shawn, a 2 decade collaborator with john wells, read the first script and saw the potential straight away
a deleted scene in which abbot defends samira in a room she isn't even in and declaring her the smartest one in the er
abbot having a ridiculous samira radar and his eyes finding her in some way whenever they're in the same room
both being lonely workaholics pushed forward by their grief
the literal showrunner saying they would be good for each other
jack letting samira be the second person in the world to conduct a risky medical procedure and body blocking walsh to tell her she can do it
him peacocking practically everytime she's near and getting shy when she acknowledges him
samira being the ONLY person he cannot make his notorious eye contact with and the person he cannot flirt with smoothly
her being visibly attracted to his actions (donating blood while working and paying for her patient)
the fact that he can soothe her anxiety enough to the point that she can focus on something else
she is also comfortable enough in his presence to sit down and talk while he is trying to clean his wound
shawn also saying that samira is jacks favourite
but sure, mohabbot has come out of nowhere
LOOK WHAT THEY'RE TAKING FROM US
trinity santos is a study in fandom misogyny because they gave her all the characteristics fandoms usually salivate for in men, being gruff, quippy and misunderstood with a tragic backstory but a heart of gold beneath it all. they put all this into her AND let her be a lesbian. she's everything you could ever want in a character but she's not a man so half the fandom either hates her or constantly mischaracterizes her as petty, callous and aggressive while doing mental gymnastics to baby the male characters around her

What game would you erase from your memory just to experience it for the first time again?

i finished pjo season two and oh my gods can i say how happy i am about the dynamic change between annabeth and luke as a whole?
initially i was going to post a tiktok about this but then i truly couldn't be bothered (and i also ran out of screen time). anyways, this might have been said before but yeah i really very much appreciate this particular change from the show. in fact, a lot of the changes from season 2 have been pretty positive over all, (which i'm super happy about because season 1 honestly had me a bit worried for a second.)
obviously this change did start in season one, with the (awesome!) decision to not have annabeth be beside herself over luke. i've been rereading the first book and some of the scenes where annabeth's crush on luke are discussed are lowkey uncomfortable to read. it might be a hindsight sort of thing (it most deffo is tbh), but i do feel like the whole idea that annabeth starts crushing on him at seven years old(??) and continues to crush on him until she's at least twelve when for all intents and purposes he acts like her brother is a bit icky. of course, we're ignoring whatever was coming from luke's end, because i do feel like it's pretty ambiguous, especially in his final scene with her.
but this season i think they really did amp up the whole "family" of it all, between thalia, luke and annabeth, and i think it makes for a much more interesting dynamic in terms of the percy of it all. the clear tight-knit family unit type of group that they formed, even over two months in annabeth's case, is really being shown to us through how the three of them are interacting with each other and even how they refer to each other to others. not only do i think it plays really nicely into the whole idea of annabeth only knowing how to be a demigod rather than a kid (having that momentarily consistent family is probably more easily associated with being a demigod now for annabeth), but i also think it's going to make it all the more interesting when we see both annabeth considering joining the hunters and then deciding to stay a mortal vs thalia's decision to become a hunter. i need to reread the book before i can talk more on this, but i'm very, very excited for the titans curse.
without going too much into it as well i think it will also just make percabeth even more interesting due to the fact that we're able to understand the other points of view better. idk.
basically, to summarise, i'm genuinely a sucker for found family and i think it's such a wonderful trope and love triangles bore me to death. therefore, the decision to emphasise the found family of it all while also (hopefully??) completely eradicating the questionable love triangle between two kids and a college student who is a quasi-brother figure to one of those kids is a total and utter win in my book.
i'm back and i'm crying luke and annabeth are actually the doomed siblings ever thank you so much tv gods for changing this

I really liked this scene where it looked like Dionysus was slacking off, but then the camera zooms out, and you can very clearly see that he's distracting the younger kids and keeping them away from the fights
i'm actively losing it over cherik as we speak someone please lock me up
i made the grave mistake of showing my dad my spotify wrapped...he saw that i'd listened to lover you should've come over 477 times and immediately was like "HA I CAN TELL YOU WENT THROUGH A BREAKUP" thank you so much for the reminder john
