Dabi playing with fire in the woods. The safest place to do so? Why not? I wanted to play around with drawing fire because I’ve never successfully done so before. Loving the anime so far! Dabi is my fave villain design so far and I oddly find myself loving Bakugou’s character as the series goes on. Maybe he’ll be my next piece.

I tried the #Draw This In Your Style challenge on twitter. I found a really cute character design on this post by @orangejuicy https://twitter.com/ORANGEJUlCY/status/1013900502331879426?s=09 It's a fun challenge and it helped me get out of my funk. All you artists should try one :)

@rnd-injustice I’m sorry this took forever to finish. I had to keep revisiting it because my artistic capabilities have been a little off as of late.

Thanks to rnd-injustice for inspiring me to draw this with their super cute and fun story (Bitty Hunt). If you haven’t read it, you should. It’s great! The female lead is realistic and lovable.

I’ve created what I think Grillby’s new location would look like on the surface (complete with working jukebox). This is a part of a twin set of works that I am painting. I had to estimate with the reflections because I couldn’t find a good tutorial to help me (if anyone knows one send me a link, I would be grateful).

Steps I took to complete this (from bottom to top):

1. Mapping out the setting.

2. Two point perspective sketch using the line art tool from sai and this grid I found on this link http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?129990-background-grid (by holyenigma74)

3. Add color.

4. Highlight sources of light.

5. Incorporate glow from light sources.

6. Add reflections on all vertical surfaces.

7. Add floor surface reflection and dark green mood screen.

I figured since I made a deconstruct of my coloring process, I would make a deconstruct of my drawing/ planning process as well :)

I haven’t drawn anything for a while, so I decided to draw my current Gaia avatar :) Just a little practice line art.

https://misaran17.deviantart.com/art/Last-Berries-of-the-Season-721156272 This one took me so long to finish because I had to draw, erase, redraw, color, and detail because their was a lot of things outside of my comfort zone for this pic. The backgrwound, the textures, the postures, the hads, it was all very difficult to work with. The water and the gravel were the worst aspects of it. I have never really drawn anything like this before. It was kind of stressful at some points haha.

I wanted to draw only noivern originally, but decided to draw out my team :)

I finished the scene with @dreamer-becca-blue ‘s character, Rayne!

It took some time to do this. I had no idea how I was going to go about coloring this. With a little advice from other artists, I was reinspired to color this picture. I’m sorry this took so long.

I only used three hues to color this picture, only altering the saturation and values of the colors. I did some color theory research and encountered something known as color harmonies. For this picture, in particular, I used split complementary colors.

I did all my coloring in reverse. I started out coloring everything in grayscale, added the shading and highlighting, and then I added the pigments after that. I can honestly say that this method made everything in the picture stand out more. I had always heard that a picture should still look good if you took away the saturation, so it was easy on the eyes. Taking that tip in mind I decided to start out in a way I could keep an eye on it :)

I imagine they are watching Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 1.

Originally, this picture was a sketch made to be my reference (like the Undyne and Alphys sketches) for a bigger piece, but I decided to flow with it and complete it. I still plan to make the bigger piece.

I think I’ve truly found my inspiration to draw again. I hope this continues for me! I present to you Undyne from Undertale! :) This is a reference sketch for a bigger piece I’m working on, on Gaia.

This is my first ever post! Woo! Puting myself back out on the art train after years without sharing art on my other platform. This picture is still a work in progress, I plan on shading and adding more detail to the characters later.

I have recently become fascinated with the AUs of undertale and kind of came up with a few ideas involving stories with some of the other AUs clashing together.

Though I have a lack of motivation to write my story down, I hope to practice drawing out other peoples stories when given permission :).
