It’s time to move on.

I have no idea why I’ve been putting this off for a while, I’ve been stressing out over this way more than I really should. But anyway...

How are you all doing? Totally forgot about me? That’s okay. I haven’t been active since like February of last year after all. I don’t know if you’ve ever kept tabs on me this whole time, but if you indeed have and have been wondering where I’ve gone this whole time, let’s just say a lot of things have happened. Of course, there’s the big elephant in the room that is COVID-19, but otherwise, I’m okay. I’d prefer not to talk about what went down with me, but y’know, if you’re still willing to be there to hear me out whenever I need it, please leave a like on this post and follow my new blog. No need to comment or message me privately, but you can if you want to.

Long story short, I want to switch blogs. What, you thought I was done with this hellsite for good? Nah, I still kinda like it in this weird way. But I just didn’t know what to do with this blog for the longest time until recently. I opened this account of mine in 2015, and I didn’t even use it until like 2018. And back in the day, I just used it to show off my bad Pixlr edits of Disney characters. No joke. Eventually, it evolved into a thing where I wanted to show off my art (made originally/traditionally/digitally and in dressup games) and original characters! But then there came another problem - how should I organize my characters... and blog in general? Well, I tried many things, and now two years later or so, my blog is now a mess, imo. Fear not though, because I’ve created a shiny, brand new blog that’s a lot more aesthetically pleasing! 

Enter: madame-mozart.

Blah blah blah, I don’t know what else to say, but you can find me here now. I will no longer be posting on this blog once I publish this post, but I’ll still leave it open for y’all to view and reminisce, I guess. I might even reblog something to my new blog once in a while! At some point, I will also change the email and password to this account so I don’t get more notifications about this blog flooding my inbox. I also have a toyhou.se and Pinterest account which I also use for my characters, and you’ll be able to find the links to those on my new blog. I’m even working on a site in which I archive all the art I’ve done throughout my life, and the link to that will also hopefully be posted on my new blog.

So go ahead, spambots, raid this blog all you want, I don’t care anymore about the DMs and follows. You’re trying to communicate with an inactive account, give up lol. And I’ll just block you on my new account, anyway, so your resistance is futile. I don’t know if the 60 or so followers that are tied to this blog still keep up with it, but if you do come across this post in your feed, holla.

Anyone remember tektek.org from back in the day? oml this was probably one of the most extensive dressup-doll making-avatar creator websites I’ve ever used. So unfortunate that it was taken down, I would have loved to create all of my new original characters on it.

I never really got into Gaia, the original site Tektek was based on. I heard Gaia’s own dream avatar maker thing isn’t as extensive or versatile as Tektek’s.

I posted this original image of Tektek.org’s Dream Avatar customization thing a little over a year ago. I wanted to bring this back because I recently went through my Google Photos... and check out what I found!

These are some of the dolls I made with Tektek when it was still up! I feel pretty lucky that I’ve saved these. I clearly remember making more and saving them on Tektek’s own online save feature (I think you were able to give your characters tags so you were able to look them up and find them once you created and saved them), although I never downloaded them to my computer. These four dolls are the only remnants and only connection I have salvaged from this nostalgic site. </3

The first one is my old My Little Pony character Dazzling Diamond, who is now defunct as I don’t really use her anymore. The second and third ones are my OCs Rose and Elisabeth, whom I still have around, though they’re now revamped. The fourth one is another defunct character named “Collette”, as you can see from the text I added with MS Paint. 😂

Check out what I dug up from my Google Photos! These are some dolls I made with the Dreamselfy avatar creator! Unfortunately, I’ve got bad news about the game itself: it doesn’t seem to be working! If you try to put an item on your avatar, it won’t show up! It seems like the only thing you’re able to change is the skin color.
Looking it up on Google, it seems this problem has been present for a while now. Whether it’s to do with the Flash player going defunct at the end of this year or a problem with the site’s coding, I don’t know. All that I know is that the maker no longer works. :( The first image was made in 2013, the second in 2016. Ignore the comic sans on the second one lmao.
These are all my OCs; well, in the first image, the guy with the blonde hair actually belongs to my friend. :) The two girls belong to me and I still have them around today, they’re just revamped. As for the second image, those characters are now defunct as I’ve just grown bored with them. You can read their “story” I added there if you want lol. Random question, but should I do a thing where I put the OCs I no longer use for adoption so other people can use them? I don’t know. Hit me up if that sounds interesting. RIP Dreamselfy 💔 EDIT (2/3/2020): Added a third and fourth image since I somehow forgot to add them the first time I was going through my Google Photos. The third image of the pink girl is another defunct character of mine and the fourth one is my Phantom of the Opera FC Zita, whom I still have around today. :)

They look like my OCs, Princess Caelus and Queen Israestelle. :)

It’s kind of accurate because Caelus has rainbow-colored hair and is literally the sweetest angel to everyone she meets; meanwhile, Israestelle is associated with dark colors and is fairly moody, but she’s Caelus’s very distant relative and occasionally makes time to spend time with her. Some say that Israestelle is rarely seen with a smile on her face and only Caelus can get it to show. ❤️

I finally caved in and downloaded VRoid Studio like a week ago. Here’s my first attempt!

This is supposed to be a younger/teenager self of my OC Nathaniel. :)

I don’t dig the hair, but I hope to keep practicing! There are so many options to customize your character and I like that you get to draw hair instead of choosing from presets. The posing feature is cool, too. Once I figure out how to texture, I plan to create custom clothing!

Hey, who buried me? I haven’t been dead!

Hey friends, it’s me, formerly “les-petits-riens” or something like that. I’ve changed my username since it’s the name of a gorgeous heavenly piece by Gregorio Allegri... and that’s like what I’ve been listening to a lot lately. It’s really soul-refreshing, if that makes any sense. 

I haven’t been active since, well, October of last year. Long story short, university work nearly killed me last semester so I literally just had to cut all ties with social media (including Tumblr) so I could focus on keeping my grades up. Fortunately, I survived (barely lmao), and it’s slightly easier this semester... so far. Hopefully it stays that way, haha.

How’s everyone doing? Oh who am I kidding, no one missed me, haha. I could care less, anyway. That’s the life of an introvert. I think I might revamp my profile a bit and change a few things. I’ve also got to clear the stash of notifications I’ve received throughout the past few months.

I’ll catch you guys later with resuming my usual posts and stuff!
