why are you so bothered by their headphones? it’s a completely normal thing, you’re being overdramatic, just tune it out like the rest of us. have you tried exposure therapy? if you were around ppl wearing headphones more, you’d get used to it, you’re just being avoidant.
when i first got my ear defenders i got hot pink and painted on blue/teal designs because of Miku so i made a Miku charm for them today
shes sitting with her hands on her knees but it looks like she has big naturals…
also if the pink is supposed to be headphones or pigtail accessories uhh i, dont know working in a small scale is hard. it can be whatever your heart desires
babygirl i am driven crazy by noises you don’t even hear

Misophonia got me thinking things like "I hate when people exist in My Presence" with full seriousness. Nothing like a slightly annoying sound to turn me evil
What my misophonia wants to do to people who trigger it

idea for a terrible bumper sticker

i dislike plushie dreadfuls but i like cute mascots and mental disorder representation so heres my take on a misophonia bunny (kind of a plushie dreadfuls redesign? except its just based on my experiences/preferences and isnt meant to replace the original plush)
original plushie dreadful for reference:
i didnt like the feet(???), the ear pattern felt overwhelming, i didnt understand the 13 on the chest, and i generally dont like violence associated with mental disorders (even though misophonia DOES make me violent but whatever)
i thought noise cancelling headphones were a no-brainer and i liked the idea of a held accessory so i added an mp3 player to go along with them. i simplified the ear pattern and changed it to the "sound off" symbol since i thought it was more fitting. my misophonia makes me really anxious so i added a pounding heart to show heart palpitations, and i made the colors calmer (while still keeping the aggressive red color symbolism) because when i look for comfort when im stressed and panicking i prefer something that looks calming
irasonusgender ┄ a neurogender related to one's misophonia !
i coined this term a WHILE back, but decided i didn't like it or the flag, so i refurbished it a bit ! posting it so i can have an external source to link to :3
May I ask, Is there a flag for misophonia?
Yes right here
Misophonia is one of my mental disorders and affects my life everyday and I decided to draw art I feel represents the affect if has on me. If you also have it just know you are not alone.
Misophonia (or selective sound sensitivity syndrome, sound-rage) is a disorder of decreased tolerance to specific sounds or their associated stimuli, or cues. These cues, known as "triggers", are experienced as unpleasant or distressing and tend to evoke strong negative emotional, physiological, and behavioral responses that are not seen in most other people. Misophonia and misophonic symptoms can adversely affect the ability to achieve life goals and enjoy social situations. It was first recognized in 2001, though it is still not in the DSM-5 or any similar manual. For this reason it has been called a "neglected disorder". (Wikipedia)
