Okay but like Hiccup clearly has no problem walking through the pouring rain, right? I mean:

Albeit he looks like a sad wet cat there and it probably isn’t fun for him, but I doubt this is the only time he’s gotten soaking wet from the rain.

Ergo, I believe he’s been out when it’s cold and rainy and gotten sick from it before; and perhaps he even had to take care of himself during that time, since like… Stoick may very well have been away searching for the nest, and no one else who sees Hiccup soaking wet in that scene the photo is from commented on it so like…

Just imagine an even younger and smaller Hiccup, sick after being out in the cold and rainy weather, with no one home to take care of him.

AO3 should have an Annotation Mode where you can click to view all of the author's commentary and thoughts about certain parts of the work. A little comment that says "I spent five hours researching vintage radio mechanics for this and didn't even end up using it" or "this is an ancient Hebrew literary technique!" would make my day

Random thing. I was at an appointment and we were just talking as one does. Except I can’t fully remember what my therapist was saying and then all of a sudden I feel really weird. Like I felt fuzzy and like the white noise fuzzy and cold. Like I was fainting. I know a part of me was freaking out over it like I wanted to cry but then after a weird minute I was kinda okay again? It’s still kind of happening like i feel a warmth in my brain thats sharp. I just never experienced that before. Even weirder I was really tired before this happened and then I kind of woke up like I wasn’t tired anymore I was energized. But now I’m tired again and feel fuzzy.

I just don’t know where this tiredness is coming from. Maybe I need to eat something. I’ll report back lol
