- The first time he’d stop right in his tracks, panic quickly setting in. His hands would hover over you, fingers basically crackling with nervous energy.
- Did he do something wrong? Did he hurt you? Oh no, oh f-
- But then you’d explain, laughing through the tears.
- And his shoulders would relax, an easy grin slipping onto his lips.
- It would happen a lot from there. Your eyes suddenly getting a watery shine as he says or does something that slams into you just how much you love him.
- The first few times he wouldn’t really know what to do. Could someone really love him so much, to the point of tears?
- He’d try lightening the mood, and hiding his embarrassment, with a few jokes in the beginning, but later he’d learn to accept it.
- Then he’d laugh softly, pull you against him and murmur into your hair as he draws his fingers through it.
- And you could even swear, just once or twice, that you’d catch his own eyes turning watery as he watches you with such a gentle expression your knees would give out if he wasn’t already holding you up.
- “My heart, why are you crying?”
- You’d shake your head, quietly wiping at your eyes as you try to find your voice. His soft touch would still your hands, his warm fingers sliding along your jaw as he’d go to cup your face. You’d hold onto them, breathless as more tears slid down your cheeks and onto his hands.
- Asra’s eyes would be gentle and concerned, the clear violet clouding over with worry as he wordlessly urged you to speak.
- Just his closeness, his forehead leaning into yours, the scent of lavender on his fingers from the tea he had been brewing would be enough to bring you to tears.
- I just love you so much.
- But your voice is scratchy, heavy with emotion.
- Instead you lean into him, his hands sliding down to your neck as your lips find his.
- The kiss is soft, slow.
- When your eyes meet each other’s again he smiles, pecking your lips one last time before returning to your now lukewarm tea.
- He’d be a lot like Julian, that is, with the panic and lame jokes the first few times.
- But he’d always wrap you tightly into his arms, peppering your face and neck with kisses until your tears have turned to laughter and you’re pushing him away, barely able to believe how lucky you are.
- Saeyoung would never let you cry for too long. It tears at his heart to see your tears, even if they’re a testimony of your love for him.
- So when you pull on his jacket’s sleeve, eyes going hazy he’ll immediately trap you in his arms.
- When he’s sitting at his desk, keyboard clacking away as he types strings of letters and numerals that make your head spin?
- He’d swirl around on the chair, tripping your feet out from under you in one fell swoop and safely catch you in his lap.
- He’d nip at your ears and neck, murmuring how much he loves you under his breath.
- Does he carry tissues along with him everywhere he goes, just in case? Definitely.
