Bio ✰
Ariya was born and raised in Aurora Bay. Her parents having moved here from Thailand years ago after her older brother was born.
At a young age, Ariya took an interest in acting which caused her parents to put her in any audition they could find
She got a call back one day and lived the life of a child star for many years, being apart of many different shows that the network she was apart of could put her in
Even while acting, she went to school still, doing her best to have good grades even if she was tired a lot of the time
Once she started high school, Ariya gave up acting. The stress of being recognized was too much and she just wanted to focus on her studies instead
After finishing high school, Ariya enrolled in college and got a degree in the arts since even after not being an actress anymore, she's still drawn to the field in some way
After years of trying to make a career for herself again, she ended up getting a job at the Black Cat Café where she takes care of the cats they have there
She at least gets to be around the cats each day and enjoys her coworkers and boss
Though there are times she wishes she was still pursuing acting instead since she could have done so much more in the field and went on to become a much better actress even
"You look incredible! Do you mind if I get a picture for the Aurora Bay Times?" Raven had told herself that even if she was planning on getting a few pictures for work, she'd still have a good time. But first... work, of course.
"Oh, you think so? Just something my mother passed onto me that my grandmother wanted me to have." Ariya mused as she looked down at the dress. It showed off her culture even if she hadn't gotten the chance to wear it in Thailand. It was nice to wear around Aurora Bay at least which seemed to be the only place she could.

"OK, I know it's cliche as hell to ask," Zoe starts, giving a swift smile, "But what's your New Year's resolution... and immediate follow-up: is it exactly the same as last year's?"
"Hmm, my resolution is to get back into acting again and try not to dwell on the past as much." Ariya admitted easily. "I mean dwelling on the past was what I said I'd do last year but I failed that instantly." A laugh left her lips.
location: cafe, grocery store, literally anywhere in public!
"You don't know how glad I am to hear regular music again," Jimin says to the personal beside her, "If I had to hear Jingle Bell Rock or All I Want for Christmas again, I actually would've lost my mind .. and I'm not saying that to be dramatic. I'm serious."
"I am as well. It's not to hear songs not revolving around the holidays," Ariya nodded as she agreed. "I feel you on that. I swear I was gonna scream with hearing the same songs over and over." It was nice at first but once they repeated, Ariya wanted nothing more than to plug up her ears so she didn't have to hear another Christmas song again.
There were moments like now where he just appreciated life not moving so fast. He knew if he was still on tour and working as a musician full time he would have lost so much time with raising his son. He wonder if his marriage would have still failed but perhaps that was always meant to be.
“ not trying to brag about myself, but I used to be famous once. And crowds were something that just always bothered me. I think I get flashbacks of it when I’m in a place that’s that busy. I think it just comes with the territory, though of being in a town where we have so many big gatherings.” Gavin admitted as he glanced back over to her. “ do you usually end up avoiding it like this. I tend to be the type that leaves early now.” @missariyas
Having the time to just enjoy things again instead of the constant rush of a booked schedule made her happy. Sure she missed acting and thought to get back into it. It just seemed like she'd have a better time as an adult compared to a child. Not that it would change other things in her life but she could accept that at least.
"Oh? I can believe it honestly. I used to be myself and crowds were always overwhelming in some way especially with those fans who'd try to crowd you. I get that. It's just a lot at times." She enjoyed participating in the activities the town had but sometimes she had to hide away. "Not all the time. This is a first. I usually just leave and go back home."
"Exactly! I might bring a purse just to stuff finger foods into for later!" Noelle joked with a laugh. "I love looking for dresses. I think it's so much fun. May I see the ones you've been looking at?"
"Yes! Don't give me ideas. I'll end up doing the same so I can have them later." Ariya found herself laughing as well. "I do as well. I did it a lot with my mom when I was younger. I sometimes bring her out to do it even now." She beamed a bit. "Sure! I have the photos of them." She pulled her phone out, finding the photos and showing them to the other. "The red one is a strong contender for me."
Bonnie hesitates. As it nears Christmas, her ability to make rational decisions tends to get fuzzy, especially around animals. What's the harm in getting a third? It's not like Georgia and Lucy could hate her forever for bringing in a new little guy...
"So, um... What's the process for adoption from this place? Just wondering."
Ariya knew that look. She had the same look many times especially when considering a pet. She was waiting to get a cat herself but never took the time to actually go through with adopting. Though she was all for helping someone else bring about another pet.
"Just have to fill out paper work and usually have to do an interview as well as a background check. Though I can usually skip over a few steps when seeing how people interact with the cats."
Gavin did love these moments though. Despite how much he talked about feeling stuck he knew deep down he wouldn’t be granted these moments of peace had he not walked away when he did. He had to always keep that in mind because his adoptive family knew what it was like to never have peace at certain points of his career.
“ good to know “ he nodded as her stick the lack of cigarettes back into his jacket pocket. “ I get it though, I had to play music and I hated the crowds. does it get too overwhelming for you ?” @missariyas
Ariya treasured the time she had. Not only did she have a job she enjoyed, she got to spend time with her family whenever she wanted without having an outlandish schedule. It was nice and much more peaceful. Plus she had time for pets which she had been debating about a lot lately.
"Crowds can be a lot especially when they are surrounding you. It can at times. Reminds me of why I stopped coming here. It has been a nice escape but I can't stand everything together here like I used to." Though she was trying to heal a broken heart then as well so she didn't care as much about the music and crowds.
"God, so true. Cat's personalities are all over the place, and yet somehow I still ended up with two spoiled princesses." Bonnie rolls her eyes fondly. "I don't blame you. My heart's stolen! That little gray guy over there? He's lucky my girls don't play nice with other kitties because I'm one more mocha latte away from smuggling him out of here under my jacket."
"They are! We have a black cat that is just a goof but I adore him a ton. Oh, I can imagine how spoiled they are," Ariya laughed a bit. "They do steal them easily. Oh him? He's a sweetheart. He loves greeting everyone as I'm sure you've noticed. If only they did. I'd let you adopt him right away. He's a favorite around here for sure."
"Sometimes I can be like a bit snippy with people, but it's usually because they deserve it." Mostly people that were rude to others were people that Oriana felt like she could be rude back to them. A lot of people tended to be mean to Oriana because she wasn't a woman who lacked confidence. "Yeah, like it's not my problem you're miserable." She shrugged. "I think everyone was probably like that to someone growing up. I wasn't super nice to my step sister at first, but now we're really good friends. I don't think anyone goes through life without being mean to someone." She tried not to think of the people that she probably was mean to in life. That didn't seem productive at all. "It was fine, I guess. Boarding school was fun for the most part. I got to see Paris Fashion Week up close once. That was amazing. Wait, where were your parents born?" Oriana realized that she also didn't know much about where her dad grew up. "I agree. Built in beach days."
"I mean I get that though. I can be the same way especially if I'm shown disrespect first for no reason." It made sense to her honestly. Usually she kept to herself but the times she was feeling her best seemed to be when others wanted to try and knock her down. "Exactly. Seems some don't understand that and wanna throw their misery onto others in a horrible way." she sighed a bit. "True. It happens and then you learn to be better as you get older. My brother and I had our differences but he's my number one supporter at the end of the day." She never really remembered who she was mean to. It was when she was young so a lot of those memories got buried into the recesses of her mind. "Oh! That's sounds so cool! I love that you got to do that. I've wanted to go to Paris Fashion Week. My parents were born in Thailand. They came here to raise my brother and I." Ariya easily let her know. She still got to go to Thailand to visit extended family but she knew nothing expect what family told her. "Yes which makes it even better in my eyes."
Juno tried not to just reveal why she would have enemies but that sort of thing was inevitable when people got to know her. She was a celebrities greatest enemy. Someone who leaked their drama. “ the town isn’t all bad. “ she explained not wanting it to seem like Aurora bay was horrible. “There’s are just some people here who don’t like me “ was it a good reason ? To her no. But she was incredibly biased. @missariyas
Ariya just never had a thought in her mind to go after someone even if it was something she wasn't fond of. Even when she was acting, whatever was reported about her wasn't something she would never dwell on. She stopped acting as an adult so rumors that she saw others deal with never happened to her. Maybe she just had a thicker skin and didn't let certain things show. "I know. I've also seen some interesting things in this town since I've lived here." Her parents would have moved her out of the town if it was horrible. "I see. I can only imagine why. You don't need to tell me but others have their reason."
"We open in half an hour, ma'am. But since you brought something from the cafe, you're excused." George said, getting off his chair, opening the door for the woman. "Just don't say to my boss, shhh." He chuckled. "What did you brought?"
"Today we have a new exhibit, actually, Vincent Van Gogh. Of course, you are familiar, everyone is, but do you like it?" George asked with curiosity.
"I know. I should have waited a little more before I came over." Ariya gave an apologetic look though went through the door with the cafe goodies in her hands. "I promise I won't say a word." She beamed before laughing a bit. "Got a few pastries that are always hard to come by later on in the day."
"Oh really? I love Vincent Van Gogh. He's one of the artists I enjoyed studying the art of when I though I'd pursue that as a career."

"Oh. My. God. You have, like, probably the most fun job in the world. Getting to hang out with these little guys all day? Come on! I just don't know how you don't take them all home with you; how do you keep from falling in love with their cute lil' faces?"
"It's definitely a lot of fun. I love getting to spend everyday with them while also learning more about them personality wise." She smiled a bit, thinking about how each one of them were unique. Plus one of her favorites was definitely a drama queen and she loved it. "I mean it's a struggle everyday. They are all too precious and those meows always get me. They steal the hearts of everyone who comes here."

Location: Aurora Bay Museum of Arts
George was always the first one to get to his job. He liked to be alone for some minutes before the crowd explored the museum, which was absolutely worth visiting. He sat on the receptionist's comfortable chair, eating a red apple, when suddenly, he heard a noise, like a knock.
"Go away, we're still closed." He said, loudly. Not the best words for a stranger.
Maybe Ariya's interest had been peaked when getting into art more so she was eager to see the museum again after so long. Plus it reminded her of many outings she had with her father here so it was even more special.
"Oh, guess I got here too early from excitement. Would it be too bad to be let in early? I even brought something from the cafe as an offering if need be."
“ oh man I’m gonna be so honest they do not make these kind of glasses for people to actually see out off, I could have actually put buttons on my eyes but that would be way worse. “ Spencer replied as he pulled up his button eye glasses for his costume up. He actually really liked the idea and gave Amelia all the credit when it came to the concept. Vision be damned to complete the aesthetic. “ I have to keep them on though cause then I just look like a man on a robe. Is that anything costume wise? “
"Oh, they really don't. It's for the aesthetic at the end of the day for sure. Buttons would be great but we don't need you stumbling around." She couldn't help but laugh a little. It was a bit funny and probably a bit in character as well. She wouldn't let him hurt himself though. "True. No one would get it otherwise. The glasses with buttons and robe need to be together for it to be perfect."
Gavin had tired of the whole smoky clubs and bars scene when he had still been someone but the was this part of him also that had missed it. Or more to the point he’d missed being a musician, he missed being a singer. He didn’t miss being famous and he didn’t miss the overwhelming feelings that came along with it.
It was why he would still go out once in a while to clear his head. But he understood how crowded and busy places like this could be. “ I understand. “ he noted giving her a small nod and he put his cigarette back in the pack to finish later after putting it out. “ anything I can do to help?” @missariyas
Ariya remembered a time she couldn't freely go out without people bombarding her from every corner. The joys of fame but she appreciated that she got to taste a bit of it before she cut it all off cold turkey. Maybe she'd go back to acting again. She was ready to see what roles she'd get to have as an adult actress.
She couldn't help but give a smile towards the other. At least someone did. She didn't get how people could be in there so long without a break. It always just feels like a lot out there no matter how much time she spends in the club. "Your company is enough. It's nice being away from all the noise and music even just for a little while."
There really was no reason for Oriana to get annoyed at someone. She normally was a pretty forgiving an accepting person—as long as that forgiveness and accepting wasn't pointed at herself. "People can be so mean for no reason." She shook her head. "I guess there are a lot of people that are just mad for no reason." She didn't get that. She didn't want to be mad all the time. "I can be mean when I want to be, but usually when someone has been mean to someone I care about or want to help. The amount of times I've gotten kicked out of a bar for yelling at someone who wouldn't take a hint..." she tailed off. It was far too many to count on one hand. "I grew up here. Well... sort of. My dad sent me to school in England and then I didn't come home until recently. It's really nice here though."
Ariya nodded as she listened to the other speak. "Exactly! Like there's no reason to be mean all the time. It must be miserable to be that way." Ariya knew she could be way too nice at times but that was something she was working on. "I guess so which sucks." She much preferred being happy than mad. Being mad always sucked the energy out of her way too easily. "I mean I can be the same way. I've had my fair share of being mean to people growing up due to how they were treating others I cared about. My parents weren't fond of me doing that though." It got her in trouble a bit but that didn't stop her from showing that side if she needed to. "Oh? How was being in England for a bit then? I wish I traveled more. I've hardly seen where my parents were born. It really is and not a bad place to live for a long time."
