“ sounds like an episode of x-files. you’re not making any sense to me, if that makes you feel better. — haven’t you read any supernatural stories before?? ”
"You mean, like, top secret files...? What does that even have to do with--? Y’know what, never mind. Yeah, I’m getting that a lot. And no, I haven’t. Never had a lot of time for reading stories.”
his speed was back. that should be the important thing, right?? not the fact that he was in some sort of limbo universe without any sort of way home. he had tried different things, asking the limbo versions of those closest to him, using his speed, but for some reason nothing worked. he was losing his mind trying to get back home. but when he woke up that morning, something was different. he knew that trying to leave this limbo was hopeless, but he couldn’t stop himself from trying again. within a matter of seconds, he was zooming through the city, and before he knew it, he was standing in the middle of magnolia’s park. “ oh, my god, “ he said, falling to his knees and putting his head in his hands. “ i’m finally out of that place. “
Fiona nearly jumped out of her skin, a surprised scream leaving her lips as a figure suddenly appeared in the park not more than a few feet in front of her. She was sure she hadn’t seen anyone -- or at least, nothing that seemed like your average person running by. A blur that could be taken as a trick of the light, if anything. “What the-- How did you-- What the hell just happened?”
“ — so, you’re like… an alien?? — i shouldn’t be so surprised. i’m a witch. my best friend’s a vampire. i made a deal with a hybrid wold vampire. still… this is weird for even me. ”
"No, I’m perfectly human. But I’ve fought aliens before. A...what, what, and what? None of that made any sense to me.”
toriel held on tightly to a bag of groceries, many worries racing through her mind as she thought over what she was planning on doing. cooking was a good pastime. something simple she could do to keep busy – but with nobody to eat her delicacies, toriel found herself wondering what the point was. ultimately she was so lost in thought, she ended up ( mindlessly bumping into ) someone roughly, in the process then dropping all of her ingredients. “what the he–” toriel was quick to stop herself from continuing. instead she decided that saying nothing and picking them up immediately would be best. “i’m sorry,” toriel meekly added.
Quite honestly, Fiona didn’t know why she thought her usual method of bumping into a person before pickpocketing them would work when the person was also carrying a bag. That really couldn’t end in anything but disaster, and sure enough, here they both were, standing over a mess of dropped groceries. “Oh, for the love of--” Fiona sighed as she muttered under her breath. As she glanced down at the woman, however, she managed a fake smile. “Nah, it’s no big deal. You need any help?”
“Keep it in mind if you ever decide to become a superhero. The name’s Jasper– delighted to make your acquaintance, Fiona.”
"Yeah, I’m far from ever being a superhero. But a girl never knows when she’s gonna need an alias. Sure, nice to meet you, too, Jasper.”
“ — well, that’s just to me. i’m not surrounded by a diverse amount of people, usually, i wouldn’t know. yeah, but… other planets aren’t survivable according to science. ”
"Ok, well, my home planet might not be safe, but it’s definitely survivable. Even the totally brainless can manage if they’re violent enough. And I’m preeeetty sure there’s people living on the other planets, too. I’ve met plenty of ‘em.”
Octavia walked magnolia slowly, having her sword drawn probably wasn’t the best idea but she seemed to be in a trance, like she was following the ghost of Lincoln through the streets and towards the woods. Once at the woods she saw it, Lincoln and pike. She heard the gunshot, she saw lincoln fall and she saw his blood. She wanted to scream, she wanted to cry. She was safe here, but he never would be. She was alone, or so she thought she was and then, then she did scream off the top of her lungs, she screamed out her loss, her frustration and her anger. She just wanted it all to end, They had failed with Luna, they had brought danger to the once safe village of Luna’s and they were the bringers of death. When she heard someone behind her she didn’t turn but she said “I wouldn’t come near me. I guess, my people are the bringers of death.”
Back home, seeing someone walking around with a sword drawn didn’t make most people bat an eyelash. Sure, it counted as rather...intense, as opposed to just a knife or a gun, but it wasn’t unheard of. Swords in this town, however, didn’t seem so common. From what she’d seen, anyway. So when she heard a very loud scream and hesitantly went to check it out, she didn’t expect to see a girl standing there with sword in hand. Eyes glancing around the area, Fiona was surprised not to see a body, but also a little relieved. When the girl spoke, her brows raised and she tilted her head to the side. “Yeesh, what is with the kids here? Are you all this intense when you see people? Because I gotta admit, it’s a little creepy.”
“ — you’re beginning to sound like my friend, now. the one who reads superhero and alien comicbooks before bed, and watches conspiracy theory documentaries during breakfast. ”
"Wow, I...never expected to be compared to those kinds of nerds. But I can assure you I’ve never read a comic book in my life. Doesn’t change the fact other planets exist.”
“You know I get that quite a lot. I’m from a fairy tale, a place where they’re real. So yeah, spells are real.”
"Yeah, ok, if you say so. To be fair, I am finding that some of the stories people have here are just as crazy as the people back home.”
“Right. Okay. Who are you anyways? Or should I just call you Lady Fearless? It’s lame, but it fits.”
"Lady Fearless? That actually sounds kinda cool. But no, my name’s Fiona. And who are you, other than a kid with some really bad luck, apparently?”

“ that’s what i thought. though i do have to ask – there’s other earths?? if it’s 2016, i think it’s safe to say that i haven’t… moved earths, as you say. ”
“No, I meant like, another planet. Though for all I know there are multiple Earths. There’s several Edens, so I’d say it’s a possibility.”
Alice slowly turned her eyes to the source of the voice, blinking quickly to clear her increasingly blurred vision. It had been some time since she’d felt physical pain like this, so it was hitting her hard. “Ah….yes, it appears that way…” She glanced back to the wound a moment then to the woman. “I um…didn’t get a good look at them…” A poor excuse but it would have to do.
"Uh, ok. Um.” Fiona knelt down beside the girl, wincing a little as she helped her apply pressure to the wound. Thankfully, she knew a thing or two about treating wounds. You didn’t get far in Pandora without that knowledge. Unfortunately, there weren’t any medical supplies around. “Do you...do you wanna go to a hospital? Or is there, like, a med station around here?”
“ nevermind, then. i don’t want to be a burden and i don’t really need to know where they are anyways, it’s just nice to know. — uhm, this is earth, i’m pretty sure?? what, is it not 2016 anymore?? ”
"Yup, from what I hear, this is Earth. I just wasn’t sure if you were from here or another one. As for the date, I think I saw it listed as 2016 somewhere.”

"Yeah, I’m a little confused at the claw thing. How...do you have them in the first place?”
