What if Daniel is interviewing Armand as part of the documentary? They mentioned in the panel that they are taking things from the other books including The Vampire Armand, so what if the “Story of Armand” part of The Vampire Lestat is Armand actually telling the story to Daniel, instead of either to Lestat or to David Talbot like in the books.

I love Armand’s line in S203 “he’ll awaken when the sun sleeps” because I don’t know if the writers were thinking about this, but the French word for “sunset” is “coucher de soleil” which literally means “sleep of the sun”. I know Armand isn’t actually French but he lived there for a few centuries and this is such a neat detail of his speech if it’s intentional.
