“Ooh, cheers to that I suppose,” Weezie said with a smile, “Any reason you’re in the mood for celebratin’?”

“I had this fine bottle of champagne in my jacket I forgot I had so I figured why not? Also we don’t have too many years left to live so why not use every moment we can to celebrate?”

“What tragic events are you referring to?” Nari asked, raising a brow. “And what’s the boob tube?” Suddenly she felt like she was much older than she actually was for being so out of the loop on these things. “Well, I can’t say no to a drink. Cheers to that.”

“You know, shootings, abuse, death, terrorist attacks, just the basics” He said with a bright smile plastered on his face, as if these event had no impact on him. “Boob tube is the television, I feel like I’m getting too old for this town since nobody knows what that means.”  He shrugged before handing her the bottle. “Cheers” He took out a cigarette before lighting it.

She wasn’t sure if he was aware of what a personal space was, since that look on his face truly sent chills down her spine. His threat was one Kenna had heard in the past, far too many times, but it was never directly pointed at her. “I don’t know, I just came here I was with you the whole time, how am I supposed to know!?” Stepping away quickly, her eyes searched for the damn device – wanting this nonsense to end already. “We’ll find it. Did you check the room?”

As soon as the word room was mentioned he instantly calmed down. “Oh you’re right.” He said, a big smile appearing. “I left it in the car under my seat because I didn’t want to take any chance of losing it.” A chuckle escaped his lips before sitting down, continuing to eat his frog legs. “How funny is that? It was there the whole time.” A hysterical laughter could suddenly be heard from him as he shook is head, the smile only getting wider by the minuted. “In the car.” He finished the last piece of his food.

“The what?” The blonde looked at him confused, she had no idea what that even meant. “But yeah, being alive is great!”

“It’s a thing you watch porn on. Hence the word boob tube.” His tone was as serious as it could get, but he was joking. “I guess it is, yeah, but I bet being dead is even greater.”

“Please tell me this is some kind of drug-induced hallucination I’m having…” Sierra squinted her eyes and watched as the man pulled a bottle of champagne out of his coat, popping it open right in the middle of the street. “What the fuck is boob tube? And why the hell do you have champagne in your jacket—”

“I honestly can’t answer that for you. Maybe it is maybe it’s not. But if it were, do you think I would know I’m just a hallucination? Maybe I am but I think I’m real. Or maybe I know and I just like fucking with you. You’ll never know. ” Casper replied with a shrug. He noticed her squinting which only made hi smile wide at her as he poured the champagne into a glass he had in his pocket. “Boob tube is a television and the champagne is there to help me celebrate, duh.” He took a sip of the wine. “You never know when you need it.”

Seo Hyun picked up her drink and took a sip of it. She sighed when he continued to talk to her. Suddenly she did wished she hasn’t told her driver to leave her alone. He was really good at keeping people away from her since he knew how uncomfortable she was around people she didn’t know well. Her eyes widened at the story he told her. It wasn’t true, was it? It couldn’t be. “Why are you telling me this?”

“Because.” Casper took another sip of his drink before putting his arm around her. “One day people will notice they’re gone and notify the police which will lead them to interrogate bunch of people and if you’re one of those lucky few then you can tell them exactly who did it and what happened.” He squeezed her a bit. “And then you’d get a stamp of approval from the feds and hopefully a lollipop.”

Emily looked up and narrowed her eyes, confused. “…B-Boob tube? Do you mean…youtube?” She asked, her voice timid. “Th-That’s okay. I don’t need the champagne. I’m not…much into drinking.” Emily told him, but watched his happiness and joy. “You seem like the optimistic type. Good for you.”

“No, dummy, it means TV. Kids these days, don’t know a thing about anything.” He scoffed, shaking his head. He didn’t know what she was old but he assumed he was older. Probably just by few years but still older. “Fine then, more for me.” He put the neck of the bottle up against his mouth before taking a big sip. “You don’t know what you’re missing out on honey.” He took another sip, the bottle now half empty. “I am optimistic!! I’m optimistic that we’ll all day soon and I can’t wait for that to happen but until then -I’m going to enjoy some delicious bubbly.”

“The world is just full of tragic events. It’s hard not to hear about them but maybe the television should focus on some of the good in the world instead of all the bad.” Aelish rose a brow, surprised that he had a bottle of champagne. “Do you just randomly carry around bottles of champagne?”

“No.” Casper shook his head. “I like hearing about the bad things, makes me happy to know I’m not the only lunatic out there.” He laughed as if he were joking but in reality he really wasn’t. “Of course I do, you never know when you want a sip of the good old bubbly.” He poured the champagne in two glasses, handing one over to the brunette in front of him. “M’lady.”

“Boob tube?” Sophie asked, head tilting on the side with pure confusion. “That’s.. a very expensive champagne, I thought you were just kidding at first!”

“That means television. are you that uncultured?” Casper raised his eyebrow at the girl. “Sophie darling, you should know I don’t kid when it comes to alcohol. You should also know that price doesn’t matter to me. So...You just going to watch me drink or are you going to actually drink with me?” He poured the champagne in two glasses, picking one up and raising his glass as if to cheer.

“Due to all the tragic events I’ve been seeing on the boob tube I felt like we should celebrate.” He took out the bottle of champagne he had been hiding in his coat before opening it. “Cheers to being alive and whatnot.”

“I need a break from life.” Kenna said, her feet raising to rest on one of the other chairs; feeling completely comfortable in there until he started to lose it and she knew it was time to just help and not let him start shooting people. “I didn’t take it, Casper.” The blonde told him, eyes wandering around the room. For the first time, she got nervous. “I’ve been here with you for what – twenty minutes? I think you would have noticed if I got my hand in your pocket. Do you think I’m stupid or something?” Where the hell did he put the damn phone, the only thing that could create the unwanted trouble they both needed? For God’s sake, he had to do just one thing. One. "Where was the last time you saw it?”

Casper frantically searched up and down for his phone but with no luck. His gaze turned back to Kenna who he knew never took it but he had no one else to blame but her. He swiftly moved closer to her so his face was only inches away from her. “Listen here you little shit if you’re guilty of taking it I swear to god you’re out of a job, you’re out of Lanford, you’re out of life. You have one second to tell me where it is.” He backed up, his hands were now pulling his hair as he screamed. “Where is it?!” For the first time in many years he actually yelled.

“I have no idea how you can live right now.” The sense of sarcasm in her voice made Kenna laugh. “Don’t worry I don’t eat frog legs. They’re disgusting.” And she meant those words, that was one of the things she’d never put in her mouth. “Why me again? Do you really want them to think we’re fucking or something? Just call one of them and tell them I’d love a beer right now because I’m in a really cranky mood and I have my ass beaten up. And let me remind you, how I work very hard around here” Normally, she would have rushed to do as she was told but being high on whatever pills she was getting, Kenna felt a little more fearless than usual. That, and well – she felt awfully comfortable around Casper, something she knew that bothered him.

“Me neither, I need some cocaine.” Casper began searching for his phone he had put somewhere to make it easier for him to eat. He never put away his phone, it was the reason  why his business was so successful so of course the first time he did he lost it. “Fuck, where is it?” He groped himself trying to find it before doing the same to Kenna. “Where’s my fucking phone?!” He was angry, so angry. The kind of angry nobody wanted to witness. “I know you took it, stop playing games and give it to me.” He had calmed down, or so it looked. Deep inside he was still furious but he didn’t want to take the chances of scaring away the girl possibly with his business.

Seo Hyun looked at the man annoyed and moved to the other empty seat, leaving the empty chair between them. She didn’t like being close to anyone she didn’t know well. Unfortunately now she was sitting right next to the guy at the other side of her.

“Ouch.” Casper placed his hand over his heart, pretending to be hurt. “You know if you wanted to be alone you could’ve just said so.” He chuckled at himself, amused at how the girl reacted to him. “But since we’re already talking...” He moved to the seat next to her, his brightest but creepiest smile shining through. “Once I was trying to cook spaghetti but I ended up setting fire to the stove so instead of putting it out I threw some gasoline in it and just let my house burn down. As I was outside I realized I forgot about the people I was keeping in the basement but by that time they had already burned down. It was pretty cool.” He took a sip from his beer. “Just kidding it was just one person.”

Havana watched at he laughed, though they weren’t amused. Though small, they packed a strong punch. “I don’t really know if the feeling is mutual yet…” They nodded, watching him curiously.

With a shrug, Casper let out one final giggle. “Oh whatever can I do to make you love me?” The sarcasm was almost bursting out, his hands locked together as if he were praying. “I’ll do anything to make you happy your honor.”

“Ha, ha. Well shit, you’ve caught me. Damn, I was sure this was gonna be a foolproof plan.”

“That’s the thing, you really need to think these things through. Destroy all evidence. Not be stupid enough to expose yourself.”

“Aw, someone’s angry now. Just because he won’t have it his way.” Jennifer replied, already walking away from him. Due to her long luck of running into psychopaths had taught her a good lesson or two, the blonde decided to not push it that far, if it meant he was going to fuck off.

Casper was just about to get ready to go at the girl when she turned around to walk away. “Good girl.” He whispered, his intense body now finally relaxing more.

“I’m hungry, do you have any marshamallows?”

Casper could smell gas from the distance which made him curious. It must’ve either been nearby or a really big fire. He followed the smell until he was greeted by a burning house. “Shit.” He said with the brightest smile on his face. “Who burned this house down?” He asked the person sitting in front of it, walking closer towards the flames. “Impressive work, I hope the person left all the evidence in the house. Harder to catch them.”
