"I suppose if you're offering, I wouldn't mind a cup of... whatever's easiest, really. I'm Gregory, by the way. Gregory Earhart. It's a pleasure, Miss."

Gregory's gaze was distant and cold, as it nearly always was. His breathing was slow and rhythmic and if there was any perfect way to describe him, it would be to say he was a predator lying in wait. And that's exactly what he was. Hands were tucked into his trouser pockets, thumb stroking over the raised buttons of his mobile. God, he was aching for a hit. Of anything. The heel of his right foot bounced, breaking his facade a little. It wasn't even that he was addicted to anything at this point, he was just bored beyond compare.
He adjusted his collar, biting on the inside of his lip before he set his mind, glancing around, determined to find something to hold his attention. And there it was. A rather gorgeous looking man, and Gregory was watching him shamelessly. He allowed his gaze to linger for a while, scraping over the other's form before approaching him casually.
"Hello, Beautiful. Would you mind helping a weary traveller?" Of course, he wasn't all that weary, but it was a selling point, and it could get the shorter male hooked, hopefully.
Walking along the sidewalk this late at night, Abigail hadnât thought that she would run into anyone. Nor did she think that someone would approach her. Sheâs confused for a moment, wondering if the man actually just spoke to her.
Her eyes blink, gazing up at the man with a furrowed brow and a look of disbelief. âThatâs exactly what someone with devious intentions would say.â
A smile cracked over his lips, with a hint of amusement to it. His chin dipped into a nod, letting his gaze flick over her frame. It was a habit of his, one he consciously kept for many reasons. For one, it allowed him a grasp on just who this person was. But more than that, it made the other feel watched, judged, and observed. As if they were some animal in a zoo, and he simply adored that.
"At least you're smart. Makes you all the more interesting. But honestly, I wouldn't harm you. I'm Gregory Earhart, Miss. It's a pleasure."
"No, course not. Wait, who got away? Who ya hidin' from?"
"Oh, no! No one got away, Ma'am. Just an ex of mine is on the street corner outside. He - ah - He isn't the friendliest. Knew I was being idiotic for datin' him in the first place, but what can I say? He had the goods." Mentally, he was torn between chuckling and scolding himself, because of course, the goods he was thinking of were more along the lines of ice methamphetamine.Â
//Kayy. Threads are drafted on here and my other account (I really need to brush up that account. Gr.), but Iâm off to bed. And I have school tomorrow so I might not be on as much as usual. Also, sorry I got absolutely nothing done tonight. Been a bit hectic. Anywho, stay beautiful, Lovelies! <3 Love youuu~
She peered down at his hand before shaking it. "Guess you're right there. I'm safe? Good. 'Miss'? You know, you can just call me Clara, seein' as it's my name. Pleasure's mine, Greg. It's alright if I call you Greg, right?"
His smile broadened, giving her hand a polite shake before letting his fall away. "I apologise. It's a bit of a habit of mine. Clara it is. And yes, you may! I do appreciate you asking, though." There was a beat of hesitation before he nodded his head towards the street. "If you'd like, there's a cafĂŠ down the street. We could have coffee. Talk."Â

This was bad. This was very, very bad. Fuck. Gregory knew it had been a bad idea from the start. Visiting his old neighbourhood, when so many dealers knew him there... Obviously, a mistake. He was getting cocky. After a few years out of the business, that could happen. Thinking that you were in the clear, when really, he would never be out of the clear. The mere sight of police officers set his heart racing. Maybe it would always be that way.
But after locking eyes with a supplier he had been particularly close with, his pace quickened just slightly, adjusting his shirt in an effort to stay casual. As soon as he could, he entered a building, not even sure what sort it was. It could have been a house, for all he knew. But then there was a person before him and he froze, gaping, searching for an explanation to give them.
"Ah - Hello. I hope you ah - I hope you don't mind me popping in. I mean no harm, I assure you. I saw an ex of mine out there. Got a bit startled. Would you mind if I wait until they go away?"

"Ah - Hi there. I was - I was wondering if I could ask you something. New in the area, you see. And I just," He paused, swallowing thickly. What excuse did he have for this? "I was just curious about something."

[text: Boss] Yeah, Becky. No, please donât fire me. I need this job.Â
[text: Boss] Yes I got you a car. Itâll be outside soon.Â
[text: Sebastian] ...I won't. For God knows what reason, I've got a soft spot for you, Kid.
[text: Sebastian] Thank you. I apologize for how upset I was earlier. I'm not used to having quite so much on my plate, and despite all of this shit, you're doing surprisingly well.
[text: Sebastian] If I'm firing Becky, who would you like to be her replacement? Obviously it has to be someone trustworthy. Preferably someone already in the business...

[text: Boss] Iâm sorry, boss. WaitâŚ.Â
[text: Boss] ShitâŚit was fucking Becky! Sheâs the one who received the phone calls. Â
[text: Sebastian] Becky? Should I just fire both of you then?
[text: Sebastian] Fucking Christ I'm too busy to deal with this. Did you get a car to pick me up or should I find a bus?
Watching as the man leaned towards her to tell her about him being free and inviting her out for some coffee, Alice nodded âSure but I prefer Iced Coffee and my name is Alice, kind strangerâ she teased âWhatâs yours?â
"Whatever you'd like is fine by me, Miss." There was a slight nod of his head before brows rose, swallowing thickly before answering. "Oh, my apologies." A hand extended, posed to shake hers. "I'm Gregory Earhart. It's a pleasure, Alice."
Alice smiled at the man âOh, okay thenâ she said, now nodding âWell, Iâm glad to somewhat help you. Next time, warn meâ she added as she let out a small giggle at her response to him
"My apologies." There was a quick bite to his bottom lip before he blinked in thought, leaning forward a little. "I do, however, have a bit of time on my hands. And the schedule for my day is rather dreary. Care to join me for coffee?"

[text] Woah, woah. Chill out boss. Iâm sorry, there must have been a mishap.Â
[text: Unknown] No, I will not "chill out". Do you realize how vital I am to this company? Do you realize how much this empire relies on YOU to organize things for me? Obviously not.

Sebastian took a step back and held his hands up. âWoah, woah, mate. I didnât mean it like that. Just chill out and we wonât have a problem here.â Sebastian said, his tone going a bit defensive.Â
Gregory let out a bit of a growl, rolling his eyes and smoothing his hair. "Sorry." Lips pursed, and he hesitated before adding, "Old habits die hard," under his breath. "You have my apologies. It's been a long day. I do hope that you will forgive me." The last thing he needed was to cause a commotion, and he mentally kicked himself for reacting so strongly.
