Honestly I can't believe how this past year has happened. Starting early/mid August 2015 started some of the worst times of my entire life. This time last year when I wasn't at work, I was going back and forth between the hospital because my grandmother was very ill. Little did we know at that time that her days were numbered. I was very naive in many ways. One of which was thinking her time was leading to recovery. I dealt with a lot last year, not solely in my grandmother's cancer. It still hurts everyday without her especially nearing her one year death anniversary this upcoming week. I had to put my big girl panties on and be strong for many reasons and it kind of hardened my once very joyous heart. To think of life a year ago and ask me how I though September 2016 would be, nothing is how I thought it would be.
