basically what it comes down to is that you need to actually care about female characters or die. and if that's really really too hard for you the absolute least of what you can do is just shut your mouth and move on secure in the knowledge that you will never actually have to think about or reconsider your own misogyny in any real way. what you don't get to do is say that those of us who do care about female characters need to essentially produce artworks at a quantity to match thomas kinkade and writing at a quantity to match james patterson if we want to earn the right to notice and comment on this misogyny.
