saw the hantavirus (zombie) stage trailer omg we’re so back
MIZISUA ARE COMING HOME????? AND THEY'RE ZOMBIES NOW!?!?!?!?! PRIDE MONTH IS GOING GREAT FOR ME AND MY BLORBOS
oh for a second i forgot how insane i am about them
ok, I'm SOOO excited for zombie stage. based on the new comic, it would seem that the "canon" universe is an arts school they're all attending, and each alien stage plot is a movie they're watching, we just have it told from the POV of it being about them/an AU. and from what I can tell so far, it seems that each one is about the entertainment arts industry in some way? like, AS is about idol culture and the exploitation and dehumanization of idols, and it seems like zombie stage may be about child exploitation in the entertainment industry? I can imagine this setup might not be too popular among some people, but I honestly love it and think it's such a smart way to explore all the different AUs... especially with how them all being arts students ties back to the themes of AS/ZS... so exciting

Confession💝‼️
Besides appearances, Sua mostly connects Mizi to her sister in the sense that these two women were the only main comforts in her life. Hia made Sua's homelife somewhat bearable, as she was seemingly the only one of her sisters that didn't treat her with complete disdain and genuinely loved her. But unlike her sister, Mizi was able to provide Sua something beyond what Hia could and very much did not want to give her, and that was the illusion of naivety. The events with her sister in Heavenly Garden traumatized Sua, and the idea of death haunted her for the rest of her life as Hia forced Sua to confront the idea of her inevitable death in a cruel and condescending manner. Mizi, meanwhile, played into Sua's fantasy and allowed her to take the reins when it came to how she dealt with her fears. This made Sua happy, but not facing reality and communicating directly with Mizi played a major part in Mizi's trauma, alongside Sua's death. Although Sua did not want this, she ended up hurting Mizi and forcing her to face reality in a cruel manner like her sister did to her.
If Sua sees the parts of her sister that she is fond of in Mizi, then she sees the negative aspects in Ivan. Ivan is not careful when it comes to talking about the pain of their situation that Sua is adamant to avoid, and his way of showing affection through rude teasing is not welcomed by Sua, although she beared it with Hia.
Just like in the Heavenly Garden comic, Ivan confronts Sua about her death (specifically the plans to sacrifice herself in this case) in a similar condescending manner, even calling her 'pitiful,' similar to Hia. The moments of cruelty that these two show towards Sua in their conversations with her both stem from a feeling of resentment and insecurity. Ivan and Hia both feel connected with Sua due to the perceived similarities they have with her, but eventually lash out due to Sua having something they do not or no longer have. For Ivan, it is Sua not having a similar relationship with Mizi that he has with Till, and for Hia, it is Sua now having the favoritism of Nigeh and the love of the masses and not her.
