I've been shipping myself with fictional characters for 20 years. At that time, I didn't know what "Selfshipping" was and I didn't make self inserts yet.

It was just me imagining going on a date with fictional characters and that was it.

Hi! So, as a person who's watched Venture bros., I was really curious when I saw your post in the selfship community- why St. Cloud?

(Was worried to ask for fear of coming across as rude- but I'm just genuinely really curious! I really like hearing people's reason for loving a character!)

Back in Late February/Early March of 2025, I decided to rewatch the venture bros for the first time in well over a decade (Early 2012 was the last time I watched the show prior to that). When I made it to season 5, a character that was "new to me" caught my eye (St Cloud) and I became very interested in him.

The more I saw his appearance, heard his voice and got to know him better, I instantly fell in love. I couldn't stop thinking about him for days on end. I kept hearing his voice in my head and he even started to appear in my dreams. On my birthday, I decided to selfship with him and made my first drawing of him with my self insert, MK (He's kissing her hand) days later.

Since then, I've been making up headcanons about him, including making up lore about his relationship with MK and giving him Fankids as well (We have 3). I love this man with all of my heart. 💕
