An empty house is a great thing sometimes.
It can be, depends on the day and how tired or stressed I am. How have you been, Zig?

An empty house is always the most freeing
It can be nice sometimes, but sometimes it’s nice to come home to family waiting for you, too.
Is having the house be empty really that bad, though?
No, sometimes it isn’t. It’s nice to have peace and quiet time to myself before everyone else shows up.
I hate coming home from work to see that no one’s home. Makes me feel all lonely.
I guess so, but it’s also nice to have some time to yourself before everyone else arrives, right?
I’d complain with you, Matlin, but at this point – I’m pretty used to the loneliness.
I’m sorry to hear that, Zoe...what have you been up to lately?
Nothing like coming home to an empty household after a long day at work.
London is pretty much the popular tourist spot. I like to go there myself when I’m on holiday.
How far away is it from where you live? Are you on holiday now?
“It’s a little weird not being in the Motel’s office… But, um, I’ll get used to it.”
“You work in a motel?”
“Where is Derek when you need him? Or Liz? LIZ!”
“Derek? Liz? I don’t know them but...are you alright?”
“It really is! No occasion just yet, but there will be one hopefully soon.”
“Awesome! A party or something? That sounds so fun!”
It turns out this is way easier said than done.
Thanks for the leap of faith.
I know what you mean. I wore heels to the last school dance, and it was torture, but they made my legs look great!
Anytime!
Ha—ha, aren’t you cute? No, but I’ve met very nice people indeed, you have no idea. Oh, Toronto filled with coffee shops and Degrassi students was getting dull? How is that even possible? Yes, you understand why I am here now. Where would you like to go first, Chicken Little?
I am very cute. Really? A lot of people already? Yes, it was! There’s hardly anything to do there other than that. I needed a change of scenery. I definitely do; it’s gorgeous here! Oh wow, I have no idea. How far is Hollywood?
Bristol, England. Have you ever been?
Ooh, England! I haven’t, but I want to go soon. Haven’t heard much about Bristol, though, mainly just London.
“ Yeah, it’s more on your own here. I have my boyfriend here and I think my brother. I don’t know. I thought I heard his voice but I haven’t seen him around since then. Once. When I was sixteen I moved away from my parents.”
“I don’t think I’ve seen any sign of supervision yet...Oh, well, that’s nice and convenient for you. Really? Why don’t you call him or something? Oh...that must’ve been tough for you.”
That’s good news because I would not survive here if there was nothing to do.
There’s definitely plenty. I can’t imagine being bored here. Where did you come from?
“I was just out on a walk and I come back with five shopping bags. Oops! On the other hand, how do I look? I bought this today!”
“Ooh, that’s a really pretty dress! What’s the occasion?”
