@mocky101
tbh I can't stop thinking about how i went into Hadestown being like "this is a tragic love story based on a greek myth I enjoy :)" and I came out the other side covered in blood being like "this is a thesis about how capitalism inevitably leads to both personal and global ruin, and so we are duty bound to resist it even as we lose, again and again and again. no matter how impossible it feels or how many times we fail and hit a wall and fall, we try again"
Why is it always about Orpheus turning back foolishly and never about Eurydice following him out of the Underworld, likely knowing she was doomed. That Orpheus went all this way, singing the story of their love, hopeful that he will return her to the surface and finally build their life togetherâ but they will not. She knows her Orpheus will turn back. And yet she still follows him, all the way to the top, because the simple pleasure of seeing his back again is enough for her. Isnât that a foolish thing to do for love?
Wip. It's been a while since I've drawn anything based on my favorite movies. Hector Barbossa, my favorite character from Pirates of the Caribbean đ

Bruce Wayne is a good cook Hc because I don't believe in the bat bad chef propaganda.
Bruce stress bakes. Not as constantly as the children would like(as they're obsessed with his sweets),but enough that it's specific
If he needs a moment just for himself (or else hell probably make a dent in the wall in anger),Alfred would find him in the kitchen baking the first thing that got to his mind(usually biscuits or muffins, and depending if he's REALLYY stressed more complicated things,Alfred found him making a full croque-en-bouche once,it was a spectacle)
It's not the bats fault if it was Alfred that taught him that coping mechanism,and he doesn't even like sweets that much,only if them have fruits, specially bananas and blueberries,he loves them for some reason(he's a fruit bat in and out)
When the kids were too busy to actually eat the things he makes in anger,he takes it to the watchtower to use as leverage(The batkids call it the final betrayal,they were going to devour those sweet treats), to make them work in perfection
And no one,NO ONE, refuses a Batman sweet treat,they're divine,even though the man himself insists that the artificial things in the supermarket probably taste better(someone needs to work on the bat self worth I swear)
that's just one,of many..
Omg this is amazing. And I agree with this hc sm
