i hate going on social media because i hate seeing political stuff. not because i'm ignorant of politics, but because i genuinely get angry when i come across so many stupid people. sorry for daring to believe that everyone in the world deserves human rights and respect, i guess.

there are some people from the capital who don't realize how lucky they are simply to have been born there or to have had the opportunity to live there. i'm sure there are plenty of things that could be improved, like in any city in the world, but they're always stuck in the same pessimistic mindset of "it's ugly here," "there's nothing interesting to do," "it's dangerous" or whatever. they're always minimizing the problems of those who live in smaller towns or cities, the reasons we want to move and even our excitement at having the opportunity to do so.

and what especially annoys me are the people who say that outsiders are "romanticizing" the city. no one is romanticizing anything. they're simply happy to have access to more opportunities, spaces and amenities. for god's sake, shut up for a little while. not everything is about you, capital-city people. such spoiled people.

i didn't even draw it myself, i saw it on pinterest and it made me laugh, so i wanted to share it. i was only thirteen, okay? it wasn't malicious. i'd give credit, but i don't even know who made it and i haven't come across this meme again.
