16 things I learned before turning 16...
I turn 16 tomorrow (Ik crazy life) so Iād thought Iād post this totally inspired by miss Kayla @lifetimeswiftie13 and miss taylor just to share with you some of the things Iāve learnt over the past couple of years!!!!
1. People tend not to care as much as you think
People probably arenāt looking at you and judging you! They probably donāt care so u keep doing you sis! And even if they do WHO GUVES A FUCK??
2. Own your craziness instead of hiding from it!
3. Grades DO NOT define you
The majority do not matter in the next 5 years or even week so stop stressing about things if they wonāt matter in a years time!
4. Comparing your results to other is unhealthy
Your results are yours! Theyāre either good or bad for you no one else. You donāt need peopleās lower scores to validate your own and you donāt need peopleās higher scores to undermine them!
5. Many things in life youāll only do once so make the most of them
Lots of the things you do in life youāre never gonna do again you can never go back to that moment so live in it and enjoy it! Do whatever you want and go crAzy!
6. Stop stressing about your future
You canāt predict the future so stop worrying about it and do everything you can to succeed in the present because thatās going to help your future
7. You look good in whatever makes you feel good!
You all look so unbelievably beautiful and if ur wearing somethjng your happy in I promise you that confidence makes you look amazing. So stop worrying about other people
8. Other peopleās opinions do not define who you are
you are your own person. Other people may form opinions on you but that isnāt who you are so stop stressing about them. You are you and the only thing that defines you are your actions and your opinions- no one elseās.
9. Itās okay not to be okay
Everyone has good days and bad days! It is okay if your not alright every day. There is no reason for you to pretend your okay when your not itās absolutely fine to be sad!
10. You donāt need people to comment on posts to validate them
Peoples presence on social media doesnāt define who you are! Just because your post doesnāt get 150 comments doesnāt mean you donāt look amazing in it so stop thinking like that
Okay I totally understanding this is a big thing and i do it way too much! But overthinking something isnāt going to change it or defeat the problem all it does is gets you worked up and essentially over exaggerates it!! Pls try and remember to keep things in perspective
12. Try not to dwell on the past thereās nothing you can do about it!
The past is over no matter what you do there is no way to change it. Instead of trying to change it we need to accept it, learn from it and move on!
13. TAYLOR SWIFT IS A FUCKING LEGEND
14. Itās important to talk to people and have someone you can talk to if you need to
It is important you have someone in your life that you trust and can open up to otherwise your problems just spin around your head and that isnāt healthy
Hate is doing nothing for you and it costs nothing to be kind. Instead of pushing others down lift them up youāll often find this is the most effective and best thing! People who spread positivity normally are happier and have more positivity in their lives so pls try this!
16. If you work hard enough you can achieve anything
Lastly, you can do anything you want but you have to be prepared to work hard for it! As many of you know I recently took my GCSEs. Since I was young I struggled with French and three years ago I was predicted a level 3 (d/e) in French. Now Iām quite academic so I decided I wasnāt getting this grade no way. Therefore I worked my ass off in French for the next 3 years and walked out of the exam with a level 8 (a*). You can do anything you put your mind to
