Ethan Winters had been living under witness protection since 2017—the night everything shifted. What began as a desperate attempt to save his wife spiraled into a horror he couldn’t erase, leaving him with memories that still clawed at the edges of every quiet moment. And at the center of it all was Chris Redfield, leader of the Hound Wolves: the man who took what little sunlight Ethan had left and lifted it above the raging flames of the horrors.
He picked up Village of Shadows, the same book Mia had read to Rosemary, and recalled the horrors he would face again—especially the pain of losing yet another family member. The only way he could piece his family back together was to end one life and surrender his own, giving up his spirit so his daughter could thrive in Chris Redfield’s care.
Next to his bedside laid his leather bound notebook, a smile broke across his face as the words flowed from his pen to the paper, scratching each letter.
Damn it. It’s been awhile since I have seen Chris. Surely the man watched me die, I died in front of him. Somehow I survived and something eats me alive of wanting to show my face to him but also staying in the shadows would give Chris and Rosemary that sense of ‘normalcy’ as much as possible.
(Just a little Drabble I had to get out of my head)
