So I have recently discovered that I have a crush on Chris. I’m just going to sit with that for awhile.

Next to his bedside laid his leather bound notebook, a smile broke across his face as the words flowed from his pen to the paper, scratching each letter.

Damn it. It’s been awhile since I have seen Chris. Surely the man watched me die, I died in front of him. Somehow I survived and something eats me alive of wanting to show my face to him but also staying in the shadows would give Chris and Rosemary that sense of ‘normalcy’ as much as possible.

Should I take Chris on a coffee date or is that not his style? I know I’m out of his league considering the people he is with but…I really do like Chris. He’s my best friend and I want to get to know him outside of work and missions
