Hi Molly, I'm an aspiring makeup artist here in Ireland and am very inspired by, not only your work, but your career itself and how it has become so successful, if you don't mind me saying. I have not attended makeup school yet; what are your thoughts on makeup school? Over the years I have been told by people that I am skilled at makeup application and should pursue it. Do you think I could get a job at a counter with good knowledge and skill already there? Thank you so much Molly, Lyndsey x

Hi Lyndsey, Thank you so much for writing in.  Ireland!! I have only been there once and it was way too brief.  I am a big fan of learning about makeup at the counters.  It's where I got my start.  It's such a wonderful playing field to build confidence and knowledge because you have so many different brands at your finger tips.  You also have access to all different types of women.  Both allow you to play and educate yourself on formulas and how they work on different skin textures.  The more you practice and get your hands dirty the better you become.  Great luck to you and please let me know if you have any other questions. x

Annie Leibovitz is an amazing photographer whose eye is able to capture both simple moments and elaborate scenes. I've been lucky enough to meet and work with her several times for magazine covers and advertising campaigns. It’s always an incredible experience to work with a legend.
